Pho_t_9ers Draft day Bonanza rounds 1-4

Dun dun dun

The 49ers trade Both 2nds and our third to move up in the 17-23 range in the 1st round. they also trade our 3rd round pick(from tennessee) and 4th round to move up in the 2nd range 40-48 range

1st pick: 17-23 range Kyle Fuller we get good physical corner with the speed and quickness to make tons of plays and possibly lockdown one side of the field

2nd pick: 1st round pick 30: Kelvin Benjamin Kaepernick can throw the ball out of richard shermans reach while kelvin catches the ball 1foot over shermans highest point while tea bagging him on the way down... big game proven reciever

3rd pick: 2nd round 40-48 range: Jason Verret: The NFL is a copy cat league so there will be a big push on pass rush specialists which pushes quality players such as Jason Verret prime for the picking plus the many teams will be worried about him getting shoulder surgery and we wont therefore shoring up our secondary for years.

other picks meh camp fodder/diamond in the rough/trade for more picks/you

feel in the blank
We're going to trade away all of our picks in the deepest draft in a decade?
Benjamin catching the ball 1 foot above Sherman's head and tea bagging him on the way down?

Feel in the blank?

WTF

Try again.
With so much talent in this draft I'm sure we could do a lot better.

You did pick some very good players.
While they all may good picks, they may also fall to the niners without moving...or at least that much! Fuller is listed as a low 1st, high second in most mocks.and Benjamin is at the same level...around 29/32. As a matter of fact, Walters has the 9ers picking Benjamin at #30, with Fuller going the pick before--#29. So the team could potentially get Benjamin and Roby/Roberson/Joyner without trading up at all.

My problem with this draft is that there are so many great prospects in the second that I would try to trade lower picks for 2nd rounders...If the team could come away with one first and four seconds I would be dancing...three is more realistic...still dancing!

will puke if we draft kelvin benjamin. with his mediocre route running i can see sherman running his routes for him and totally making his size irrelevant. we already have a big wide receiver who cant run routes and has suspect hands(jon baldwin).

love fuller and especially love verrett.

I don't think Baalke will need to trade up to get Fuller...maybe not Verret, either, as a number of teams are leery of his size.

As for Benjamin, he had one great season at Fla St...I'd be leery of that. Comparing him to Evans, he had two great years at A&M, so showed more consistency. As an option to either, I think Baalke couldn't go wrong with Adams or Matthews, who both have sterling college records over multiple seasons.
feel in the blank...

Agree on this. We need a receiver who can run sharp routes. If they're big and fast, that's a bonus. BTW, watch Patton this year. I think he's going to be key in our success.
