We have all 3 starters back plus Tank Carradine and Ian Williams on the D-line who was our day 1 starter. That's 5 set positions not including Quinton Dial and Tony Jerrod-Eddie. You have us drafting 3 DL's. We might not even keep 8 DL's on the roster, probably 7. I could see drafting 1 and 2 would be a stretch but 3 makes no sense. Even if we cut both Dial and Jerrod-Eddie we still wouldn't have room for all 3.

As for now, we have THREE d-liners on our roster who can and will play at NT. One of them was solid (Dorsey), the other one seems to be talented (Ian), the third one is unproven but he is on the roster. Do not see the need for another NT right now, even though Nix would be a nice addition in general.
I would like to see Matthews on our roster but after his Senior Bowl performance, I assume that he will be gone before mid-2nd-round.
Imho, drafting Desir with our 2nd is a slight reach. I'd prefer to wait until our first 3rd-rounder and get Jean-Baptiste instead IF you really wanna go after a big CB.
Loston and Richburg, I like.
Given my resources, Mauro isn't worth a 3rd-round pick. Imo, we have got a bunch of DEs, could pick Easley in the 4th.
Forget about an ILB in the 4th-round, pick Easley there instead and take a quick WR at the end of the 3rd like Abbrederis or Huff.

Finally someone else wants Rajion Neal! I think he could be a steal in the 7th. The only thing Tennessee had going for them this season, I think Neal could definitely be our #2 when Gore moves on and Hunter takes a starting role elsewhere in the next few seasons.

3 DL=ridiculous especially one in the 1st round, spending a 4th rounder on an ILB doesn't make sense either IMO. Bowman could be ready by week 1 and even if he's not, we don't need one long term. We will be fine with Wilholte, Moody or even Skuta who was an ILB before coming to SF and could easily move back if the team wants to get the best 4 on the field if Bow is out.
Getting 3 DL pretty much guarantees we would have to cut some good lineman with all 3 starters back plus Ian Williams returning, Tank & Dial coming on and TJE would played very well coming back.

Good start all the way to Loston... then it starts to dip from there. Nice job though.

watched him at granada. as a high school player i thought he would grow into a heck of a safety when he grew up. physically, he looked like safety material to me. now that he's proven to only be offensively oriented, he'll fit at wr in the nfl. not a chance as a running back.
