I like the Benjamin pick but not the Evans pick. More I've watched him, the more he reminds me of Keyshawn Johnson. Definitely need a guy with the ability to take the top all the way off the defense.
When did tha slow clown become a speedster ????

It worries me a little to have two really young safetys back there ( if whitner does leave) but it calms me down to see the reid played so well his first season. What do you guys think give whitner one more season while he mentors his replacement or just get his replacement now and move on from whitner?

I died laughing at the Bucannon gif! Not only does Bucannon lay out the RB but one of his blockers get smacked down by another Wazzu guy.

I have to agree with this. In Alabama's offense Julio looked like a possession WR that barely got by DBs than boom he can outrun anybody in the NFL. Hopefully it is the same with Benjamin.....unless he gets picked by anybody else in the NFC West.

He's not just a possession receiver, he can stretch the field because of his height and weight. Like the article states, over his career he averages 18.2 yards a catch.

Boldin is unsigned and isn't a longterm solution and there is no guarantee that we are able to keep Crabtree. Just because we need a speed receiver doesn't mean those are the only receivers we should draft. I think we need two draft two at the minimum and I'd prefer that we draft three (one that is more of a possession receiver + two speed receivers).

i love this draft. tons of Secondary and big, productive WRs. we fixed the DL and OLB spots last year and we have our O line in good shape as well. get the playmakers outside and in the backfield and show seattle whos boss. that safety is mean as f**k and those WRs will give colin some legit weapons.

I think Mike Evans would be a great pick.
Look what Alshon is doing in Chicago and Evans is way better.

I just believe our secondary is a bigger need with the 1st pick than Wr would rather go CB/S and Wr in the second round. Boldin is going to re-sign but whitner and brown I doubt they will 49ers won't pay them. We got 3 DBs to replace imo Whitner, Brown & Rogers cause he will be released

5. Third round: own - No. 30 (No. 93 overall)
6. Third round: Compensatory based on Dashon Goldson departure and free agency equation
7. Fourth round: own - No. 29
8. Fifth round: own - No. 30
9. Sixth round: own - No. 29
10. Seventh round: Saints (Parys Haralson trade) - No. 27
11. Seventh round: Panthers (Colin Jones trade) - No. 28

I think they signed Dahl as insurance for Reid this year, but Reid was a stud. I think Dahl will play the same role this year if Donte Whitner leaves and whoever we draft at Safety will have to win the job from Dahl, but will be given every opportunity to do so.
