Damn good first post.
Wish there were some better strong safeties in this draft but maybe Bucannon can be coached up like Reid and surprise if he is the next SS.
This is AWESOME

Thanks SFL49er, Man that draft simulator is fun. I think Bucannon is one of the best SS available. He's a hard hitter who has good range in coverage. He also ran a surprising 4.49 at the combine, and you're right I think the Niners can coach him up a lot.

I was hoping to get better corners, but they flew by on this run.. usually get Jean-Baptiste in the 2nd... but Murphy/Amaro/Robinson all dropped so that was good..

I just did the ultimate Niner Mock. I used the Walter Draft board. I would crap my pannies with excitement if this happened.

1st - Brandin Cooks WR
2nd - Deone Bucannon SS
2nd - Stanley Jean-Baptiste CB
3rd - Donte Moncrief WR
3rd - Dom Easley DE
4th - Jeremy Hill RB
5th - Lamin Barrow MLB
6th - David Fales QB
7th - Spencer Long OG
7th - Colt Lyerla TE

Yeah why take a 4-3 OLB in the 1st?? You no like Aldon Smith and Ahmad Brooks?

I think Van Noy can play 3-4 OLB...(Great Blue North Draft lists him as a 3-4...) I was hoping for Shazier to drop, but just taking BPA and Van Noy is just a playmaker.. we're solid at linebacker although we play a hybrid 3-4 that looks more like 4-3.

lol... man. Van Noy, Murphy, Amaro are going to be stars... can't believe they dropped so I just went with the BPA strategy... this one I just did fits our need a bit better:

30 WR JORDAN MATTHEWS VANDERBILT (one of my favorite receivers in draft)
56 CB STANLEY JEAN- BAPTISTE NEBRASKA (one of my favorite corners in draft)
61 S DEONE BUCANNON WASHINGTON STATE (really productive...)
77 DE JACKSON JEFFCOAT TEXAS (can pressure and hard to stop..productive and had good combine)
94 DT WILL SUTTON ARIZONA STATE (really productive junior year.. put on weight and production dropped as SR.. still first team Pac 12.. dropped in rank due to combine)
125 ILB LAMIN BARROW LSU (solid linebacker)
158 CB ANDRE HAL VANDERBILT (my sleeper pick. been getting him in the 5th from the beginning)
189 CB AARON COLVIN OKLAHOMA (like his film.. trying to figure out why his production is so low as SR)
219 OLB DENICOS ALLEN MICHIGAN STATE (special teams and may have opportunity at LB... really productive and has upside, but undersized)
220 TE COLT LYERLA OREGON (blocking, hands, off-field concerns, but has upside as JR)
222 G RYAN GROY WISCONSIN
