With Bowmans injury do we need to now start looking at drafting a high level inside linebacker? If so when do we Draft one?

At least a 2nd Day thought for sure now. P-Willy going on his 8th season, Bowman (by the looks of it) has to come back from major Knee surgery.

We still have Michael Wilhoite and Nick Moody. Dan Skuta played inside at Cincinnati before coming to the bay area. I'm not sure it's as pressing as you might think. Maybe a late rounder or UDFA to at competition, but I wouldn't go sooner than maybe 5th round.

Go to a 4-3 defense or move Brooks inside and start Lemonier. I'm joking
Don't trust Wilhoite or a rookie full time, so a FA is possible.

No it's not. He can rehab and be back. Don't panic. We may have to play a few games without him. We have bigger needs and can't waste an early pick on this.

No. Having the two best ILBs in the game was a luxury not a necessity. Sure it won't be the same without bow roaming but we have too many other glaring needs

Our needs at CB, S, and WR have not changed. Truth be told, if we get the right receivers and change our thinking offensively, we won't be so dependent on our defense to play at an all pro level week in and week out. I could see us bringing in a veteran however.

Man, that's terrible what happened to Bow. He might be out for all of '14. We might definetly need to draft a LB.

Probably a mid-late rounder. Look for a guy who is pro-ready, with a lot of experience. Wouldn't be surprised to see a guy like Wisconsin's Borland sitting in the early 4th. Will have mediocre measurables so that might drive him down the board a bit.

Yeah, probably a 3rd or 4th rd pick now. Hopefully the Moody kid can develop to.

Exactly why I brought up Barrow from LSU, one of the most pro-ready linebackers but with enough speed to move sideline from sideline and drop back into coverage.

No, he is injured, not dead. At least, I don't think that we have to go for a ILB before the 4th round.

yes, i wanna keep skuta as an outside lb pass rusher since he has proven hes good at it. dont trust wilhoite for most of the yr possibly till late november/dec. gotta look for someone in the 4th, praying we hit with that pick since it looks like we can find gems on d
