Anyone who dont want him because of his size is just out of his mind ! Dont trust my words ? See for yourself !

Verrett 5-9
Vertical 39"

McGill 6-3
Vertical 39"

that's why i'm hoping for either Joyner, Verrett, or Cooks at 30

Well the vertical has more to do with weight than height.

What does height have to do with the Vert? It is an explosion drill and these 2 guys are the same. 39" is 39", height is not part of the equation.

What those numbers show is that Verret jumps as high as McGill !

Yes. What I'm saying is that being taller doesn't necessarily help your vertical leap. Weighing less typically does.

It has nothing to do with how tall you are.

Just another day in the office for Verrett. Chewing gum while doing the drills and still dominates

I have him at 30 in my mock draft posted several weeks ago :)
Rich Eisen ran a 5.98 40

Well, yes and no. He's still starting from 6 inches lower, so his 39 inches is still 6 inches lower than McGill's 39 inches. Not making a judgement on who's better or the better fit, just doing the math.

Ok now i get the misunderstanding. Bad writing on my part. What I wanted to show iwith that comment s that Verrett with 5-9 is as explosive as McGill with 6-3. And he checks every box with that !

A wise man once told "To play in the NFL you can be short or tall but not small"

Verrett is short.

His 10 yard split is also a lot faster than McGill's, meaning he can stick with those quicker slot receivers better which is what the 49ers really need.
