2014 NFL Combine

Rice CB Philip Gaines analysis on NFL.com:

Bottom Line: Lean, active zone corner whose ball skills will have to carry him. Could be a practice-squad candidate, but lacks desirable speed, twitch and physicality. -Nolan Nawrocki

Just another day in the office for Verrett. Chewing gum while doing the drills and still dominates
Roberson looks stiff and slow on the back pedal

I've thought that for a while, glad to hear I'm not crazy. Never wanted us to pick him.

i always thought the florida corners, purifoy and roberson, were 2nd rd prospects, but they may be dropping to the 3rd. still decent value, i guess.

Jason Verrett has look GREAT

Has anyone seen a 10 yard split time for Jordan Matthews?

I cannot find one.

Thanks.

Fuller looks good want to see him in drills tho but his game tape is impressive

I heard one report that Fuller looked stiff in the hips & they said he got away with athletic ability in college.

This could make sense 'cause Fuller typically played like 8 to 10 yards off the receiver & broke forward for the throw.

All that said, I still love him as a prospect. He's really tough & agile.

I've been waiting to see the same thing. We probably won't kwow until the final post-combine report comes out.
i'm officially on the Verrett bandwagon. don't give a crap that he's on the smaller side. dude is an absolute player.

It would make a ton on sense to draft him. Seattle's WRs aren't exactly huge.

Vertical 39"
