I'm amazed that people keep trying to trade James away. When he's used in the right way, he's shown he can make some nice plays, just like his 21 yard run on Sunday. However as long as Roman keeps bringing him in to run up the middle primarily, you won't see much, at least they made an attempt to utilize him on Sunday, maybe they can work to really get him involved in the passing game, get him in open space with the ball in his hands.

I say leave the back feild alone and leave everything the the same ( Roster Wise ) 3RB> GORE, LATTIMORE, HUNTER, -- JAMES< I think should be moved around a lot more puting him in on TE Sets, Out routes , Even in the Slot... ??? JUST IDEAS....

I don't even see DAT as a RB in the NFL. He will be a slot WR imo.

I'm definitely drafting another back. Gore has maybe one more year as a starter, neither LaMichael or Kendall are starters, and Lattimore has had two major knee operations. Eventually teams will recognize, although they probably already do that if James or hunter get the ball it's a run to the outside of some kind. I like Kadeem Carey from Arizona, but I'll admit I don't watch as much college ball as I'd like due to work. He has the speed, and the moves, and the right build to take a pounding. Hasn't had any major issues with injury and had a highly decorated collegiate career. He really accelerates through holes, but will have to put on 10 to 15lbs., to be a starter in the nfl. He's projected in the 3rd, but wouldn't be surprised to see him go late 2 when all the scouting is done.

Im a fan of his, think he'd be worth it on the 3rd or 4th solely on return potential. He'd also give us the speed in the slot we don't have. People hated the idea of Ace Sanders last year (wish we'd have drafted him) cause he was "to small and only ran a 4.58 at the combine". All Sanders has done is caught 41 passes for 414. DAT is same size and faster.

Hunter could start for many teams, or be a key #2, I could see the Niners trading him
Then go with Gore, Lattimore and LMJ as our RB's
As far as return specialist goes, I want Dri Archer in the 4th/5th

SO THIS BEING THE CASE WHY SHOULD ANOTHER TEAM GIVE US THEIR DRAFT PICK FOR HIM WHEN THEY THEMSELVES COULD DRAFT THIS BETTER CHEAPER PLAYER?
Peeps, it takes two teams to make a trade. And whilst I hate to say this ain't Madden, it ain't. Second hand running backs who have not set the League on fire are two a penny.
Maybe a 6th for Hunter unless we find a desperate team.

thats a very good point..but I def think we can get more for hunter..i think he has the talent to be a starting back..especially with this class coming up..its weak..i can see like clevland giving a 4th.. or Jacksonville considering they are losing jones drew..

Neither has much trade ability. Teams have a lot of running backs to choose from this year in the draft.
