The biggest question I have prior to the mock draft is:
How well do the 2013 drafted IR players Tank Carridine, Marcus Lattimore and Dominique Dial look and also UDRFA Lawrence Okoye and Luke Marquardt?
2013 drafted injured rookie Joe Looney looks like he worked out well.
In the 2013 draft the 49ers spent a 2013 7th rounder on Marcus Cooper, tried to stash him on the practice squad only to see him get scooped. They also had a couple UDRFA getting snatched as well one of whom was H-Back Marquies Gray.
I just think if the 2013 IR players look great at the 49ers training facility, they will go ahead and draft a bunch of ACL injury players that they can stash on the NFI list. Or they trade their picks away to future drafts, but this draft is supposed to be strong with 98 juniors coming out. Next years should be a little softer.
5 solid Draft prospects w/ACL tears:
DE: Dominque Easley
CB: Aaron Colvin
QB: Aaron Murray
FB: Trey Millard
OG: Spencer Long
This would leave the team w/6 picks, using all but 1 of their 1st/2nd day picks on ACL injured players.
I really LOVE this draft strategy, if that is indeed what they plan to do, which is similar to last years draft plan.

I forgot to mention that the reason I like the draft strategy is that these players would be drafted at a discount price, because you pay a years salary, with no return. In addition there is a slight gamble as you don't know if the player will come back 100%, however with today's medical advances ACL surgery and recovery to 100% is common place.
A huge positive is that these guys, especially the QB's will have 1 year under their belt mentally learning the terminology and offensive philosophy.
The All ACL 2014 drafted player also will be learning behind a 2015 free agent who plays the same position.
FB Trey Millard: could replace 2015 free agent Bruce Miller and/or Garrett Celek
DE Dominique Easley: could help replace 2015 free agent Glenn Dorsey
QB Aaron Murray: can compete for back-up QB position
OG Spencer Long: could replace 2015 free agent Daniel Kilgore, Adam Snyder or Mike Iupati
CB Aaron Colvin: could replace 2015 free agent Chris Culliver

Good call!
After reading about Whaley, he might be a nice sleeper pick and instead of drafting Dominique Easley with a 2nd, trade down and get Whaley with a 7th.
I wonder if there is a limit to the amount of player you can place on the NFI list? I also wonder if the 49ers wouldn't mind paying so many guys $500,000 to sit on the sidelines? That starts to add up. However, it may very well be worth the gamble as rookie deals are much cheaper than the 2nd contract.

Next year we take a starting OG to replace Iupati, unless he takes a proper contract amount per year (3 mill tops). I would also extend Boone. Crabtree walks as well, which is irrelevant because we just took a true #1.

1) Kelvin Benjamin- WR
Benjamin can be our Red zone target. I like the size and speed. He can be our Brandon Marshall.
2a) Loucheiz Purifoy- CB
Big physical corner with speed.
2b)Bradley Roby- CB
Yes another CB. This is more of security pick in case of injuries. and lets face it, we really don't have any depth at this position.
3a)Shayne Skov- ILB
Another depth pick. Hopefully Bowman can make a full recovery.
3b) Lache Seastrunk- RB
Gore is getting older, we do have Hunter and LMJ and Lattimore. Hunter or LMJ can handle the workload. Lattimore is injury prone. Lache= safety pick.
3c) Ahmad Dixon- SS
If we could clone a faster younger Whitner, this guy is it. One of my favorites in the draft.
4a) Josh Huff-WR
Quick shifty guy that can help our return game. This guy reminds me of Jeremy Maclin.

Bumping this a few days before FA and after the combine. Of course this will change after free agency but just wanted to put my updated mock out there:
Without Whitner Back:
1. Pryor/Clinton-Dix (Trade Up For 3rd)
2. BPA at CB (Roby/Roberson/Joyner/etc, maybe trade up a few spots)
2. Landry/Moncrief
3. BPA at DL (Easley/D. Jones/Sutton) or C/G Combo or G/T Combo
OR
1. Verrett/Fuller
2. Ward
2. Landry/Moncrief
3. BPA at DL (Easley/D. Jones/Sutton) - These guys need work especially the last 2 but let Tomsula work his magic.
3. BPA at OL (C/G or G/T)
With Whitner Back:
1. Verrett/Fuller
2. Landry/Moncrief/BPA at WR
2. BPA at CB (Breeland/Watkins/Gaines/etc)
3. BPA at DL (Easley/D. Jones/Sutton)
3. BPA at OL (C/G or G/T)
I know I left a lot of BPA but right now we are in a good situation minus needing a CB or 2 and 1 WR if Whitner is back the rest of the way we can go for BPA and fill some depth needs with the intention of them becoming future starters. If Whitner isn't back then it's a whole new story and we have to get a SS in round 1 or early 2nd at the latest and then after that a CB or 2 and a WR. Depth at DL and OL would be put off a bit.

Do you really believe the Bills will trade the #9 pick in the draft For Iuapati and a 2nd rounder? Iupati would have to sign an extension and the Bills would have to pay him top dollar as if he were already a free agent for the deal to happen. Otherwise he could be gone in a year. If Iupati was goimg to sign for reasonable money like $5m-$6M the 49ers would extend him themselves. If I am the Bills and that is my thinking I would trade back from #9 to about #19 and pick up a mid 2nd round pick, turn around and trade back to around #29 and get another 2nd round pick and then draft a guard and have 2 extra 2nd round picks and not have to pay my guard a fortune under the rookie salary cap.
Not likely Gilbert will be there when we pick either.
I guess we can dream.

In all likelyhood every one of your picks will be gone by the time you have them being selected.
Verrett possible
Tuitt extremely unlikely
Mathews maybe slides to mid 2nd round
Bucaannon very unlikely, probably gone late 2nd very early 3rd
Moncrief same gone late 2nd very early 3rd

Where they're selected is based on cbs draft rankings. Since it's a quick mock up, I didn't put too much effort
Verrett can easily be there at 30
Tuitt will still have to have surgery on his foot, it will drop him a bit
Matthews more then likely might be gone (hence why I said we trade up)
Bucannon I would say very possible
Moncrief I see as a 3rd rounder personally. I believe he'll need time to develop
