This would leave the team w/6 picks, using all but 1 of their 1st/2nd day picks on ACL injured players.
I really LOVE this draft strategy, if that is indeed what they plan to do, which is similar to last years draft plan.
I forgot to mention that the reason I like the draft strategy is that these players would be drafted at a discount price, because you pay a years salary, with no return. In addition there is a slight gamble as you don't know if the player will come back 100%, however with today's medical advances ACL surgery and recovery to 100% is common place.
A huge positive is that these guys, especially the QB's will have 1 year under their belt mentally learning the terminology and offensive philosophy.
The All ACL 2014 drafted player also will be learning behind a 2015 free agent who plays the same position.
FB Trey Millard: could replace 2015 free agent Bruce Miller and/or Garrett Celek
DE Dominique Easley: could help replace 2015 free agent Glenn Dorsey
QB Aaron Murray: can compete for back-up QB position
OG Spencer Long: could replace 2015 free agent Daniel Kilgore, Adam Snyder or Mike Iupati
CB Aaron Colvin: could replace 2015 free agent Chris Culliver
Draft them all. Zombie squad all the way.
Nobody can steal them if they are stashed on IR.
