Lol thanks AB. It would have been interesting to see where he would have landed in this year's QB class if he'd came out. Reports are he's got a 1st round grade for next year's draft already.

i ll admit i havent seen enough of petty to form an opinion but make the case for me that he is a good nfl prospect and not just the product of a sytem that has made guys like nick florence look good

Make the case for him? I'm neither a lawyer nor his agent. Watch him. I'm not the only who's high on him. Just Google "Bryce Petty NFL" and read some articles. If you'd seen him play, you'd know why after 1 year as a starter Petty has 1st round potential and why after 1 year as a starter Florence wasn't considered a great pro prospect even before deciding to focus on his master's degree and not pursue the NFL. And for Art Briles to say he thinks Petty could be the best QB he's ever coached 2 years before he was ever a starter says something to me (Florence, RG3, and Kevon Kolb are former Briles QBs).
Just to show how accurate and how much arm talent he has, his stats this year: 320 passing attempts, 28 TDs, 2 INTs. 2 INTs!
His stats alone are video game ridiculous.

Edit: And saying "product of the system" this day and age, with the way college offenses are, is out-dated. Carr, Manziel, Boyd, Fales, Mannion would all be considered "system QBs" before Petty if that were the case.

No doubt. Bedlam game was must see TV and Auburn-Mizzou lit up the scoreboard like a pinball machine. Didn't mind it either that Michigan St. screwed up the BCS even more by beating Ohio St. Good weekend.
