Mariota staying put at Oregon

According to ESPN.
orly
Smart for him, he isn't ready for the NFL yet. Take the offseason to improving as a quarterback rather than an athlete.
Best decision for him I think. He needs to go to QB school in the offseason, develop into a more well-rounded QB.
Also his Center, Hroniss Grasu is also staying at Oregon.
Smart move, he's 20 years old and the Oregon offense should be flying again. I've always felt he has Kaep type skills.
bad for the jags.

I dunno, Mariota was never going to go 1st though, still have Bridgewater as the 1st QB, followed by Hundley, Manziel, Mettenberger, Carr, Boyd....etc.

If Bortles comes out, he leap frogs everyone but Bridgewater and Hundley IMO.
Jags are lucky basterds...upcoming draft's QB-class is top-heavy, not like this year's crap.

True but they'll likely miss out on the biggest prize which is Bridgewater.
I bet Oregons happy. Mariotta with an off season to round out his game, and eliminate all his weaknesses; exactly what all the teams in the Pac12 wanted to here.
