Ok, I know that RB is far from a need... but I seriously woud love to see this guy as a niner. Hes 230-240 and has amazing first contact power to get the tough yards. Today was my first time watching Ohio State, but he just ate up yards and has a 7.0 yard average. He's honestly very Gore like other than running a little high, but nobody is as good as Gore at running low. He's a Senior with over 1000 yards, 1st Urban Meyer RB to eclipse 1000 rush yards (he was also suspended the first 3 games apparently???) and 13+ TD's.
Gore, Hunter, Lattimore, Hyde would be seriously awesome!!!
right now he's a 3rd-4th according to CBS. I'd spend a 4th on him in a heart beat

yeah, if we can.... I'm not impressed and I like Hunter so much more! James isn't as much of a nightmare as I was hoping. If we can get a 5th or 6th I'd trade him in a heart beat. He just isnt good in our system. A team that runs alot of screens could find him useful.
I see both James and dixon being gone by next years 53 man roster

He had a monster game today. Moving up, same for Auburn's Underclassmen RB Tre Mason.
Moving down, Damien Williams, kicked off Oklahoma football team.

I kind of agree with him. I just don't see LMJ purpose. He can't run up the middle and he has problems breaking tackles. His style is just not conducive to the power run scheme. I'm not saying he isn't good but maybe a move would be good for everyone because he has ability. I think people believe he's going to be our darren sproles and I don't think Harbaugh wants that for the offense. If he does we should just pick up Dri Archer or someone a little more agile the LMJ.
I love Hydes running style but I don't we need another RB. People need to start considering what we have on the roster and how long we will have it before they decide we need to draft somebody. We have PLENTY of RB's on the roster. We have PLENTY of DL on the roster. Ideally you want to wait for contracts to expire and replace them with draft picks.
I think the best time to draft another RB will be next years draft. We have Gore, Hunter, and LMJ all with expiring contracts. That years class will be absolutely insane. Yeldon, Gurley, Deanthony thomas, Duke Johnson, Jeremy Hill, Matt Jones, Tre Maon, Melvin Gordon, Isiah Crowell, Michael Dyer, and Mike Davis. There's going to be wealth of fast, power runners and we could easily pick one up with 3-5th rounder.

Crowell is entering this years draft, not that it matters but yea next year's class is insane. Should see how Lattimore handles a bit role next year and draft another RB in the 2015 draft, especially if Gore retires and we deem either/both James or Hunter expendable.

Yea so is Dyer I believe. I think Lattimore is going to produce but with his multiple injuries I find it hard to accept him as a #1. It may be smart to start him in tandem with another powerback as well. The 2015 class is something we should take advantage because its rare to find a class filled with so many fast and strong RB. Lattimore plus any of those guys would be brutal.

I have to admit, I love this guy and would love to have him. I like LMJ but would rather have a true gamebreaker who will run your ass over or break your ankles in Hyde. Yeah, he wont be a Niner, but if he is drafted by us I will somersault like I did in the '09 draft .

Quote from Peter King in MMQB today:
I see Carlos Hyde being a Trent Baalke draft pick. Perfect physical Niners back.

Being from Columbus, I see every snap of the Buckeyes. Hyde is a beast. Big, fast, smooth on his feet and falls forward after contact. He is going to be a mid-first to early second round pick when all is said and done.
Completely flying under the radar right now, but not for long.

Yeah that makes sense, he truly looks NFL ready, he's easily worth a 2nd round selection for a team that needs a strong gore like runner... Hoping he stays out of NFC West if we don't grab him if he slides
