Didn't know he Didn't have a dad and his mom was a crack addict. Crazy that His only issue is weed. And what ever happen with that girl and the stairs.

Obviously he has had his problems, but he honestly seems like a genuine and humble kid after watching him on some of these paths to the draft.
I've become a fan of Dorial Green-Beckham the person and I am rooting for him to succeed.
Would love to see Baalke draft him at 15.

I am starting to think the same thing. When its all set & done i think most of the zone is going to have a fit till day 3 because i think after the 3rd round thats when Baalke will address the WR position & take someone like Darren Waller out of Georgia Tech. Most likely he will go DB, LB, OT/OG then WR.
Hope i am wrong though i really want one of the top gunners at WR since there is so much talent but i guess if we can land players like Waynes/Peters/Johnson, Benardrick Mckinney/Stephone Anthony, or La'el Collins/Ali Marpet/Ereck Flowers/Laken Tomlinson. Then land someone like Waller then i probably wont be that dissapointed

I would rather not draft a WR if they are gonna wait until after the 3rd round. We already have a ton of projects at that position... after the 2nd tier of WRs this class falls hard. Darren Waller would sit the bench all year along and most likely not be active on game days. I'd rather go after other positions that Trent has had success at getting later in the draft (CB,LB,OL).
FYI I'd rather grab Smelter over Waller because neither would play year 1 and Smelter was a much better prospect before his injury.

There is no guarantee he can't get on the field the way Patton has looked thus far anybody can push Patton to the side for playing time even Waller. Whether u like it or not we are drafting a WR early or late its going to happen. Baalke must Like Waller enough to bring him in for a visit i have heard NOTHING about Smelter that dude prob will end up as a UDFA in my opinion.

Oh I know we will draft one at some point, IMO it's pointless to draft one later because more than likely he will be rocking the bench for at the very least one season, especially a raw prospect like Waller (might be a better TE prospect). Patton had to deal with old vet after old vet plus injuries which didn't help. At this point he's a better player than Waller and most likely any WR that will be around in the 4th or later....it's counterproductive to waste a late pick on a WR, Baalke's been doing that for seasons and got nothing in return so far.
Smelter is a strait athlete and was the glue of that WR corp. He might go undrafted but he has starter potential (compares to Eric Decker)
http://www.nfl.com/draft/2015/profiles/deandre-smelter?id=2552627
I prefer to draft someone in the 1st 3 rounds that actually has a chance to produce something this season (we are looking for a Boldin replacement) then take Smelter late or as a UDFA.
Baalke has proven to be able to find good value for many other positions, WR not so much.

The issue was with a friend of his girlfriend who he had just found out was sleeping with one of his friends on the football team. So I'm sure he wasn't in the best of moods.

Im not draft expert, but it seems like this years WR class is either draft one of the big 3 very early, or back off until the mid 2nd and youll have your pick of a bunch of solid guys.
Why? B/c we can!
Why? B/c Baalke almost always surprises everyone!

FWIW :
Bill Polian on ESPN said he'd be shocked if DGB goes in first 2 rounds.
Kiper calls him a 2nd round pick who could go in first.
Jon Gruden not overly impressed. Thinks he did not win enough 50/50's, route running work in progress. Did not sound like he would spend a first on him either.

Better stated. Baalke had put himself in position to do whatever he wants and that's when he's at his best IMHO.
