Great day for Lockett. The thing I say to myself after every KSU game is, "Who was the best player on the field today on either side?" Almost always, it is Lockett. If you haven't had the chance to watch him in his last college game, against UCLA, it is a pleasure to see. Impact all over the field

Hope we draft this guy, quick, fast, elusive with great hands. Sherman and the LOB would hate to play us if we use him and Ellington together in the right way, hopefully our new coaching staff will just do that. Hopefully we can draft him on the second day.

I've done a lot of studying on the kid recently and after today, I think Lockett very much deserves to be a Top 64 pick in this draft and I'm convinced he brings a lot to the table in terms of ability and football IQ. I hope we would use him right if we drafted him. Dorsett may be a faster player, but often times it isn't the fastest guy who is the better football player in the end. Lockett makes big plays at big points in games and his production in both the receiving game and return game dwarf Dorsett's.
Size and durability are always a concern with these guys (that's all the smurf receivers) and Lockett had some nicks in college and had the 2nd smallest hands and arms I believe at the combine. Does the team see him as a good fit securing rockets from Kaepernick? We'll see.

I agree. Dorsett is definitely faster but in terms of the ability to get open consistently, however quantifiable that is, Lockett appears to be the better player.

Not with those hands

I don't see a major issue with his hands, he's been a pretty dependable, consistent receiver, body catches at times, loses focus at others but no worse than the vast majority of other receivers.

Lockett/Dorsett make for interesting options at the end of the 1st or beginning of second round. And Seattle needs a WR.

I think DGB and Strong did well enough at the combine to go late first round. I'm still not sold on Lockett and Dorsett going ahead of Devin Smith though I'm hoping Smith falls to our 2nd round pick. It's scary thinking about what Wilson could do with actual weapons when he makes Doug Baldwin and the guy from Footlocker look like solid NFL receivers.

Believe Seattle will go WR in 1st RD and could very well be DGB or Devin Smith. Strong will probably be off the board by then, either to Chiefs at #18 or Ravens at #26.
Also very possible that whichever receiver Seattle doesn't take at #31, Patriots could take at #32.

Lockett runs a faster 20 yard shuttle than Dorsett.

No not too scary. I want wilson to throw so we don't have to deal with the handoffs to lynch. The more throws Wilson has, the easier it is to defend against him and not 8-9 in the box

It would make it harder to defend Seattle and stack the box against Lynch if they had actual weapons...

With Willis and bowman back not too worried about lynch at all, so not really the case at all. Our safety's are good versus the run too so again, I welcome Wilson passing

This guy will be the steal of the draft. Book it!
