He had a good Pro Day, ran a 4.37 40, reportedly did well in field drills, definitely confirmed his reported athleticism.

I believe those were unofficial times and his official time was 4.42 which is still damn good.

Actually ran a 4.46 on the fast-track turf, per this NFL.com article: http://blogs.nfl.com/2014/03/04/aikens-puts-forth-strong-showing-at-libertys-pro-day/

Aikens (6-foot-0 5/8, 203 pounds) ran the 40-yard dash in 4.47 and 4.46 seconds. He did a 35-inch vertical jump and a 9-foot-10 broad jump. He had a 4.28-second short shuttle and a 7.09-second three-cone drill. Aikens was able to impress in the field workout despite the conditions.

I saw that on Gil Brandt's blog, but he seems to be the only one that has that number.

From Aiken's school:

Walt checked in with some impressive times for a defensive back with his size: 4.42 40-yard dash, 35″ vertical, 9'10″ broad jump, 13 reps bench press, 7.1 3-cone drill, and a 4.1 in the 20 yard shuttle. His 40 time would have placed him in the top 10 of all defensive backs at the combine.

Maybe the school rounded down? Or averaged the 4.47 and 4.37 times? Either way it's not that big of a deal -- his positional drills were most important and this player is an intriguing prospect who I expect to be a mid-rounder.

We all know this is a deep CB class, so it'll be interesting to see the unexpected risers and fallers come draft day.
