Not a great fan of the Supplemental Draft. I wonder what pick would secure Smith?
Smith is the only one that looks draft able out of those..There is also Nate Holliday DL UNLV who should be on the list too.

UNLV senior DT Nate Holloway will enter the Supplemental Draft, according to former NFL scout John Middlekauff.

Holloway missed the entire 2012 season. He started three games in 2010 and tallied 1.5 tackles for loss. Due to his massive size, 6'3/365 pounds, Holloway likely projects to a nose tackle spot.

I added him to the list
i don't understand why these guys weren't in the regular draft three months ago?

Here are some reasons I could think up:

1. Projected as starter, but has been told they may have to share PT with an up-and-coming Redshirt, risking their draft stock.

2. Injury risk. They have shown talent, but suffered injury, risking PT. All they need is time to heal, and can get back up to a higher playing level.

3. Academic issues. Non-book smart players risk losing the season if they can't keep up academically. If they know they are draftable, may not want to risk a year of no money/no PT, so might as well get into the pros now.

4. Family problems. Sometimes families fall on hard times and the person can't risk another non-paid college career (which is why the greedy ass NCAA needs to start paying their players a decent salary outside of cafeteria vouchers and a dorm room).

Hope that helps
