I apologize if this has already been posted but I thought it was a very interesting read.

Interesting. If Cyprien and Elam are off the board, I'd be really surprised if 9ers don't take Eric Reid and roll the dice that Tank is still there at 34, then follow up with DT/TE later in the 2nd.

DJ Hayden in the 1st round, is surprising considering he was projected a mid round pick not to long ago.

If only Nassib comes off the board as mocked then the picks between 28 and 34 are going to be a tempting place for QB needy teams to trade into to take their guy.

^^ seconded. Baltimore is right behind us and would likely take Reid in that situation

Thanks Cory, it's interesting to see what the beat writers of each team say. Ryan Nassib could last midway to late second imo. Eifert as 12 is a bit too high. I'm hoping along with Barrows that teams fall asleep on Tank.

I love this pick. Tank Carradine is a beast and would be an excellent addition.
There are plenty of good DBs in this draft. I think we will pick up a safety later. Bacarri Rambo, David Amerson, or Phillip Thomas would be nice additions in round 3.
I'm hoping DJ Hayden falls to 34 and we get both Hayden and Carradine. That would be sick.

We got to take a safety at 31. The Ravens are right behind us and need a safety. Carradine can wait till 34.

No problem, glad to share this with the zone. I think Buff would be making a mistake by taking nassib 8 overall. Their best option would be to take an impact player in the top 10 and then trade back into the late first (maybe 31??
) for Nassib. You don't take a quarterback top 10 because 'he knows the system'.

Isn't Reid more a free safety and Rambo and Thomas are more likely to be strong safeties?

By the time we pick 7 DBs are off the board:
4 Corners:
Dee Millner
Xavier Rhodes
Desmond Truffant
DJ Hayden
3 Safeties:
Kenny Vacarro
Matt Elam
Jonathan Cyprien

I see the Carradine to SF hype train is starting to pick up steam, Not that I have a problem with it. I'm riding shotgun in the "Carradine for 3-4 DE" bandwagon!
