what is the case for niners to trade up for tavon austin?

There is no case. I'd be SHOCKED if Austin is actually picked in the top 15. He's not an every-down receiver. Which means the value isn't there for a top 15 pick.

In fact, I'm not sure ANY receiver will be picked in the top 15. I expect there to be a big run on WRs starting in the late 1st going through the end of round 2.

Yet, none of them have the speed or game-breaking ability of Austin. I'm not even trying to advocate trading up for the guy, but this reason is ridiculous. We have small receivers who aren't particularly fast, especially for their size, and who don't present anything close to the threat of Austin with the ball in their hands.
