This! It might take Amerson a year to get up to speed at FS, but ext yar we would have our SS and FS of the future! I like the height, range and physicality we'd have. Reid might not be an improvement on Goldson's coverage, but he'd give up less TDs than Whitner for sure. Amerson could develop into a very good FS in this defense, and the talent around him could give him time to get acclimated.

Hopefully the FNG penis-measuring contest is over and the thread can get back on topic.

Of course, if Amerson is going to be the FS, we should be able to wait a while longer to take a SS like TJ in the third, using 31 and 34 for other needs.

Why would you want to play Amerson as a FS ? Isn't he more of a press coverage guy ? Wouldn't it be better to keep playing him as a corner ? I would rather have 1 hot guy each covering safety and corner.
