I know people saying the draft is deep but is it really deep in quality defensive end pass rushers?

I have to admit, when I started reading your mock I was horrified at how many picks you traded. Then I kept reading and was pleasantly surprised how many players you were still able to draft in positions of need, and players I like quite a bit. And it would have been even better if you drafted another defensive stud or WR over Ertz.
With that said, it's still a lot to give up for Sheldon Richardson, and I'm just not knowledgeable enough to evaluate if he's THAT much better than guys we might get without trading: Datone Jones, Kawann Short, Sylvester Williams, Jesse Williams. These are guys I have read about who sound like good prospects and good fits like Sheldon, and probably at least two or three will be there at #31.
But I will say this: If I could see into the future and know that Sheldon is a multiple All-Pro, while the other four names I mentioned turn into solid 1st rounders but are never considered elite... then I'd want your draft. In general I'm against trading the farm to move up, especially given the inherent uncertainty in scouting, but I'm not as hardcore as some people when it comes to thinking we need 13 or 14 rookies. You drafted seven guys, one with the potential to be elite. Not horrible.

Much as I'd like to say I hate it...I don't. Richardson is a beast...and B. Williams fills the NT position. However, another way to go about getting the same results would be to draft the Williams'...Jesse & Sly. The advantage I see doing it that way is both guys can play all positions along the DL, which would give Fangio ultimate flexibility. Richardson grades out @ 3 pts lower than Floyd in NFL.com draft profiles...I wonder what he'd cost. He's got more strength than Richardson...so could conceivably be able to deal with the big OT's better than SR. Love the Phillip Thomas pick...what a warrior...came back from a broken leg & dislocated ankle to have a banner senior season, leading the nation w/8 picks. Instead of Sanders, how 'bout Marcus Davis...big WR from VA Tech who could, in essence, replace Walker. Dude has run a best 4.38 X 40. I know we have Boldin now, but for how many seasons...I think Davis has a very high ceiling.
