again what? when was JM ever a 1st rounder? but he is rated ahead of DM though. and most think DM should be 49ers 2nd rounder here in the zone.

If it's all good with Jerry, then why not
I would be happy with either Mathews or Moncrief, but I favor Mathews a little more.

I like Cook, Matthews, and Moncrief and realistic options. Matthews would be our fastest receiver on our current roster by the way
Another plus for Matthews.....

Hand size is a fairly underrated measurement for a WR. The theory being that larger hand size allows WRs to snatch contested balls, hold onto the ball when hit and catch with more consistency. Last year 2 of the biggest mitts in the draft, 10in, belonged to Deandre Hopkins and Keenan Allen, both had solid rookie seasons. The year before Alshon Jeffery measured in at 10 1/4.

The average hand size of the top 25 WRs in the NFL is 9 1/2 in.

With that in mind lets see where our boy falls

Jordan Matthews 10 3/8
Benjamin 10 1/4
Jarvis Landry 10 1/4
Odell Beckham 10
Brandon Cooks 9 5/8
Mike Evans 9 5/8
Sammy Watkins 9 5/8
Marquise Lee 9 1/2
Allen Robinson 9 1/2

Below the cut

Donte Moncrief 9 1/8
Davante Adams 9
Paul Richardson 8 7/8

Can't believe that small b*****d Cooks is as big as Evans and Watkins..WOW!! Beckham is really impressive across the board. BUT, look at our boy Matthews. God I love this kid! I was high on Alshon 2 years ago and Im high on Jordan this year!

Now I agree that CB is a bigger short and long term need, but with our plethora of picks.......I would love for the 9ers to jump back into the bottom of the 1st or top of the 2nd to get Matthews.

1st...Verrett / Fuller
2nd...Jordan Matthews

YES PLEASEEEE!!!!
