Eifert will be gone! Although this is the draft so who knows what happens. I don't like the idea trading up for either TE's.

I watched Ertz and Tolelio at Stanford. Both would be fine to draft. Ertz is better but goes with a higher draft pick, levine could be had in round 3 or 4 or even 5??
is it just me, but Eifert looked terrible in the game against Alabama.

Or later. He's a nice red-zone target but didn't do so hot at the Combine, looks like a robot when he runs, not a very good blocker, he's a big target, much in the same sort of grouping as Fauria, both those guys will fall until at least the 5th round and possibly further.

I've been more in favor of waiting and drafting Toilolo.
But this sports science bit is interesting. I don't know if they've measured enough players for me to get a sense of how much their tests relate to actual play. But based on what they're showing, Ertz does look like a nice prospect:

I'm all about Ertz. He and Davis would be a great 1-2 punch at TE. He may not be as fast but doesn't drop balls like Delanie did for us.

I think K will be unlikely since we got Dawson, may be next year perhaps. I would actually consider a RB, is time we think about what should we do after Frank retires after 2014.

Ertz just took himself off Seattle's draft board with those comments.

"Former 49ers tight end Brent Jones has worked with Ertz since he was a junior at Monte Vista High in Danville. Ertz said he considers Jones a mentor and role model."
Yeah, another Brent Jones to go along with Vernon Davis would be nice. Brent Jones, but bigger and taller.
