edit ahhhh nevermind It was 256...

Plus this is a DT thread, .

Well I realized that but saw people were still talking DE prospects as well. I will just erase this all together because I failed at it lol.

Well, I guess you can just lump them together in here. Like some players fit better at DE or DT depending on the scheme. (4-3 vs. 3-4, etc...) I'll fix it.

Unless we trade the farm to the team picking #1 overall in 2014 there is no reason to have Clowney in this thread no matter what lol.

I agree, but it was an honest mistake on his part. No harm, no foul.

yep
Anyone heard of Ezekiel "Ziggy" Ansah? He's more an OLB probably in 3-4 defense, but a huge upside. About 6'6" 270 lbs. and a serious athletic freak for his size. Really only started playing football 3 years ago and started SR season at BYU. Very raw and very talented. Could bulk up and play DE in 3-4. Went from unknown to possible 1st rounder. He didn't know what AFC & NFC is. Came from Ghana 2009. Correction, started playing competitively in 2010.
Sorry guess Ansah was already mentioned on here. Still his draft stock really on the rise.
Dominique Easley's a beast. Even though Florida's getting blown out, he really stands out; much more so than teammate and potential first rounder Sharrif Floyd. Easley's a Junior, 6-2, 280. Not sure if he's going to come out for the draft because I haven't heard any talk about him at all. Does anyone know for sure if he's coming out or not?

Trade our 3rd for a higer position and get Sheldon Richardson. This kid is going tk cause mayhem and having the stability of mizzou alumni in the smith brothers means he has a better chance of not becoming a bust.

If your completely against trading up then I would prefer Jesse williams, Sharif floyd, or sylvester williams.

honestly though i fantasize us trading up and grabbing dion jordan or Ezekiel ansah in the first to play opposite of aldon.

Opposite of Aldon as in another OLB? I'd like another OLB to give our starters a breather, but I hope the plan isn't to send Brooks to the bench. With the 4 linebackers we have, I'd to see as much beef as possible in front of them to occuppy blockers and generate a little bit of a pass rush from the DE position so that Brooks, Smith, Bowman, and Willis can run free.

This. Brooks might be 28(turns 29 in march) but he is simply one of the best all-around 34 OLBs in football. We wont be sending him to the bench for a few years, probably 3+, then we'll move Aldon over to Brooks side after developing another OLB from a pass rush specialist standpoint.
Choices, choices, choices.

It will be interesting to see who emerges after the National Championship game, Senior Bowl and the Combine with this group.

After watching the last two games they played, I would hesitate to draft anyone from Georgia because their defense has given up 350 yds to Alabama and 239 yards to Nebraska on the ground.

On Monday, we will see Jesse Williams, Kapron Lewis-Moore, and Quentin Dial play on the big stage.

At the Senior Bowl, it will be interesting to see how guys like Brandon Williams play against top notch competition.

Hunt and Ansah stock should rise after the Combine because of their freakish athletic ability.

Guess that's why Baalke gets paid the big bucks.

I didnt say anything about benching Brooks. Hes great. His int against the Saints was my play of the season. Im talking about locking up the OLB spot for the next 7 years. Im talking about providing a GOOD replacement and solid rotation if someone gets hurt. If you havent watched tape on Dion Jordan or Ezekiel Ansah you should. Whoever gets one of these guys ia getting a premier pass rusher. And yes i would like to see the terror and confusion our blitz will cause an o line if aldon was opposite either of these guys. brooks isnt the best third down pass rusher. Let me make clear I really like ahmad but im just thinking about the possibilities.
Jonathan Jenkins the NT from Georgia in the late first or early 2nd would be prefect for us.

Justin Smith RickyJ

Soap Jenkins

Im not making any desciona about Jenkins until the.combine. To bad he couldn't pay enough attention to school. It would've been nice to see how he would've handle Nebraska.
