Thought it would be interesting to post the prospects we host or workout and show how many other teams are interested in them as well. Post updates in case I miss any as I'll be updating this via PFT's list and my own searching.

San Francisco 49ers

Kent State center Chris Anzevino (3/?) Private Workout - reportedly receiving 6th or 7th round grade but likely UDFA.

Anzevino excelled at his campus Pro Day workout. The 6-foot-2 1/2 301-pounder has been training with former All-Pro center LeCharles Bentley. He bench pressed 225 pounds 36 times, which would rank him second among all offensive linemen at the NFL scouting combine. He also ran the 40-yard dash in 5.1 seconds, which would rank fourth among linemen at the combine. Anzevino posted a 31 1/2 inch vertical leap, which would rank third among offensive lineman at the combine. And he registered a 4.6 in the short shuttle, which would rank fourth among all offensive linemen at the combine.

Virginia Tech running back David Wilson (3/27 & 3/28) hosted at 49ers HQ. (The 2 days worth of time here surprises me) - Reportedly a top 45 pick could slide to our #2 selection

The 5-foot-10, 205-pound junior ran the 40-yard dash in the mid 4.3 range at his campus Pro Day workout. Wilson rushed for 1,709 yards last season, a school record, for nine touchdowns as he averaged 5.9 yards per carry. Wilson was named first-team all-conference, second-team All-American and Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year.

Utah State running back Robert Turbin has a visit scheduled for 4/12. - Reportedly a 3rd round prospect

At the NFL combine, Turbin, 5-foot-10 and 222 pounds, did 28 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press, matching Boise State's Doug Martin for the most by a running back. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.50 seconds, the ninth-fastest among 28 running backs. His 10-2 broad jump ranked fourth. Turbin suffered two serious injuries in college, a torn capsule at the bottom of his big toe in 2007 and a torn ACL in 2010.

http://blog.sfgate.com/49ers/2012/03/31/utah-state-rb-turbin-will-visit-49ers/

California linebacker D.J. Holt (4/?) - Reportedly a UDFA but I've seen Holt mocked in the 6th or 7th rounds

Holt (6-0, 245), who is projected as a late-round pick or an undrafted free agent, ranked 10th in the Pac-12 in tackles (82) and tackles for loss (10.5) last year. As a junior, he tied for third in the conference with three forced fumbles. Holt was not invited to the NFL combine.

http://blog.sfgate.com/49ers/2012/03/23/cal-ilb-holt-will-have-pre-draft-workout-with-49ers/

Illinois receiver A.J. Jenkins (4/?) - Reportedly a 2nd or 3rd round grade.

When the Illini started the season 6-0, Jenkins had four 100-yard games including 268 yards against Northwestern. Then Illinois went 0-6 to finish the season and Jenkins only had one 100-yard game in those last six which included the meat of their Big Ten schedule -- Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue, Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota.
Jenkins has rebounded since the season ended. He did well during the East West Shrine game, was a late addition to the Senior Bowl and had a good combine. He's fast. Jenkins ran a 4.39 in the 40 yard dash at the combine. Only three receivers ran faster -- Travis Benjamin, Steven Hill and Chris Owusu all ran a 4.36. Still, when I mentioned the combine to Jenkins, he was disappointed in his 40 time. He says he can run a 4.32 or 4.33.

Northwestern State cornerback Jeremy Lane (4/?) - Reportedly a UDFA but I've read of him getting very early day 3 buzz.

At 180 pounds Lane would likely need to add some extra weight in preparation for competition at the next level. At Thursday's pro day Lane was best in four categories (including a 4.48 40-yard dash and a 42-inch vertical leap) and improved his marks in five tests (40, vertical jump, a 10-10 broad jump, a 4.14 20-yard shuttle, and 12 consecutive 225-pound bench presses) since a workout earlier this month at Louisiana-Lafayette. Lane's whose press man coverage ability has some draft analysts projecting a possible mid round pick during the upcoming NFL draft.

Cal State Fullerton tight end Andre Hardy (4/6) - Signed with the Raiders

Iowa State safety Jordan Bernstine (?/?) Private Workout - Reportedly receiving 4th round consideration

Bernstine ran the 40-yard dash in 4.34 and 4.38 seconds at his campus Pro Day workout. With 29 NFL teams watching, Bernstine also registered a 41-inch vertical leap, a 10-7 broad jump, a 6.75 in the L-drill, an 11-3 in the long shuttle and bench pressed 225 pounds 18 times. The athletic defensive back recorded 99 tackles last season with three tackles for losses and one sack, one forced fumbe and one fumble recovery. The former Parade Magazine All-American also averaged 23.8 yards per kickoff return.

http://profootball.scout.com/a.z?s=127&p=9&c=2&cid=1174900&nid=5797762&fhn=1

South Florida defensive end Claude Davis (4/?) - Reportedly a 7th round or UDFA signing

Davis, a defensive end who projects to linebacker in the NFL, reportedly measured 6-foot-2 and weighed 235 pounds at Pro Day in March. Davis was closer to the 240-245 pound range but he has lost some weight after undergoing ACL surgery in February. His visits are likely related to his recovery. He was known for his pass rush at South Florida and is considered a later-round/free-agent level prospect.

http://espn.go.com/blog/boston/new-england-patriots/post/_/id/4720178/getting-to-know-claude-davis

West Virginia outside linebacker Bruce Irvin (4/?) - A real wildcard, reportedly "sneaking" into the 1st but likely a 2nd or 3rd round grade.

*West Virginia's Bruce Irvin may be heating up in the draft to the point he could creep into the first round. He is scheduled to take 12 visits to NFL teams. He is appealing both the 3-4 teams as an outside linebacker and 4-3 teams as a defensive end. Among the teams he is visiting are the Bears, Browns, Chiefs, Dolphins, Forty Niners, Jets, Panthers, Patriots, Texans and Titans. Part of the reason so many want to see him is coaches want to put him on the board and watch tape with him, and have a chance to see what makes him tick.

http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/NFP-Sunday-Blitz-2109.html

LSU receiver Rueben Randle (4/?) - A top 40 pick, will almost definitely be there at 30.

At 6-3, 208 pounds, he is the type of big-bodied receiver the 49ers prefer, and he stood out in the ultra-competitive SEC. Randle caught 50 passes for 908 yards with eight touchdowns last season, and perhaps most impressive, he averaged more than 18 yards per catch. Last month at LSU's pro day, Randle imprved his 40-yard dash time at the combine -- 4.55 seconds -- to 4.42 seconds. NFL Draft Scout rates Randle as the fourth-best wideout in this year's draft.

http://blogs.sacbee.com/49ers/archives/2012/04/wideout-watch-randle-visited-49ers-floyd-on-his-way.html

Appalachian State WR/RB/KR Travaris Cadet (4/?) - Reportedly a UDFA.

The speedy 6-foot-1, 210-pounder rushed for 651 yards and six touchdowns last season, catching 34 passes for 333 yards and a touchdown. He also averaged 24.3 yards per kickoff return. Cadet is prized for his versatility, utilized as a running back, wide receiver, kickoff returner, punt returner and quarterback during his time with the Mountaineers.

Notre Dame receiver Michael Floyd cancels trip to visit 49ers - Reportedly garnering top 10 buzz, we'd have to trade the farm and then some.

Aaron Wilson ‏ @RavensInsider Reply Retweet Favorite · Open
Notre Dame WR Michael Floyd's visit with the 49ers has been canceled. Was at end of his itinerary. Also unlikely to last until their pick

Mistwestern State Guard Amini Silatolu (4/?) - Reportedly garnering 1st round consideration but could be there at our #2 pick.

Two, Silatolu, who stands 6-3 and weighs 311 pounds, dominated opponents in college (see below at 1:26, 1:34, 1:56 and , ouch, 4:44, etc.) and the latest buzz is that he could be taken at the end of the first round. If the 49ers (30th overall) took him, they would be unique to the league in drafting their two starting guards in the first round of the draft. NFL Draft Scout rates Silatolu as the third-best guard in the draft.

http://blogs.sacbee.com/49ers/archives/2012/04/mr-popular-49ers-one-of-many-interested-in-g-silatolu.html#storylink=cpy

Georgia Tech receiver Stephen Hill (4/13?) - A 1st round pick, might be there when we pick.

Georgia Tech wideout Stephen Hill, who had perhaps the most impressive scouting combine of any wide receiver in February, will visit with the 49ers this weekend, The Bee has learned. Hill ran one of the fastest 40-yard dashes in Indianapolis - 4.37 seconds. That he did so at 6-4 and 215 pounds would seem to make him intriguing to a team like the 49ers that prefers big, physical receivers and also needs a down-field threat.

http://blogs.sacbee.com/49ers/archives/2012/04/georgia-tech-wr-hill-due-to-visit-49ers.html

Baylor receiver Kendall Wright (4/12) - A 1st round selection, might be there when we pick.

One of the most explosive wide receivers in college football last year, Baylor's Kendall Wright, is in the Bay Area tonight to meet with the 49ers, according to a source with knowledge of Wright's visit.

Wright was Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III's favorite target last season, catching 108 passes for 1,663 yards (15.4-yard average) and 14 touchdowns. The 49ers met with Griffin at the scouting combine in February, a session the quarterback suspected was designed to learn more about Wright.

http://blogs.sacbee.com/49ers/archives/2012/04/meeting-mr-wright-baylor-wr-visits-49ers.html

Cincinnati running back Isaiah Pead (4/?) - 2nd - 3rd round grade

After destroying two-time Heisman Trophy winner Archie Griffin's 35-year old high school record by rushing for 2,204 yards (Griffin had 1,787) and 39 touchdowns as a senior at Eastmoor Academy in Columbus, Ohio, Pead's abilities were hardly a secret as he entered college.
Using exceptional bursts of straightaway speed, he kept right on running in at Cincinnati, where he started 26 of his 44 games, carried 545 times for 3,288 yards (6.03 per carry) and 27 touchdowns and caught 87 passes for 721 yards. If that wasn't enough to convince scouts, he put on a show of footwork at the Senior Bowl, including punt returns of 60 and 38 yards.
At the scouting combine he validated his athleticism with a 40-yard time of 4.47 seconds and a vertical jump of 33 inches. Toughness is not is forte as Pead prefers to elude rather than hit, but can run through arm tackles. His versatility as runner, receiver returner should be considered.

Vanderbilt Safety Sean Richardson (4/?) - Reportedly a 5th - 6th round selection but I've seen him mocked to us in the 7th.

Three-year starter who finished with 63 tackles/1 interception/3 pass breakups as a senior after posting junior totals of 98 tackles and five pass defenses. Posted 84 tackles as a sophomore.

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/nfl/draft-2012/players/84367.html

Jeremy Jones Cornerback Wayne State (4/?) - Reportedly a day 3 prospect that could fall to UDFA

Jones finished his standout career at Wayne State with 17 interceptions, third most in school history, and three returns for touchdowns. He helped lead the Warriors to the Division II title game last season, and earlier this month he played in the Players All-Star Classic postseason all-star game. But Jones also is fighting a rap as a small-school prospect who is undersized (5-foot-9 1/2, 196 pounds) for his position.

http://www.freep.com/article/20120228/SPORTS01/202280397/NFL-combine-Wayne-State-s-Jeremy-Jones-is-fast-fearless

Bobby Wagner Linebacker Utah State (4/?) - Reportedly a top 45 pick

The four-year starter, two-time captain and three-time All-Western Athletic Conference selection has several upcoming visits, a total of 15 meetings with NFL teams. Wagner was voted the Most Outstanding Player on the North squad during the Senior Bowl with seven tackles, one for a loss and an interception and is graded as a solid second-round draft prospect. The 6-foot, 241-pounder made an excellent recovery from a bout with pneumonia that required hospitalization and prevented him from participating in the NFL scouting combine. Wagner ran the 40-yard dash in 4.46 and 4.47 seconds at his campus Pro Day workout where he also had a 39 1/2 inch vertical leap and an 11-foot broad jump. He bench pressed 25 pounds 24 times, also registering a 7.09 in the three-cone drill and an 11.72 in the 60-yard shuttle.

Jason Slowey Western Oregon Center (4/?) - 6th round (I've seen him mocked to teams in 6th round with a week to go but he could slide as only us and the seahawks are known to be interested)

Trevor Coston Maine Safety (?/?) - UDFA - I'm not clear on whether we've worked him our or visited with him, SI was very vague.

Coston does not receive the same notoriety as his combine-invited teammate Jerron McMillian, but many in the scouting community feel he's the better NFL prospect. Coston is a terrific cover safety who easily goes sideline to sideline in centerfield. He also doubles as a return specialist, which only adds to his value. Coston is drawing a lot of interest from the San Francisco 49ers, Baltimore Ravens and New England Patriots.
