Everyone who thinks he'll be available after day one is insane. All three of those TE's will be gone by the end of round 2. He's too much of a luxury pick for us, I'd honestly be mad if we took him. We already have Byham and Reuland as blocking specialists with receiving skills. A TE next year makes sense because Walker's contract is up after 2012.

2. Michael Floyd, Notre Dame, WR (6-3, 224): Floyd might rank as the best pass catcher in college football since Larry Fitzgerald. He displays unbelievable ball skills and has a knack for making the acrobatic catch look routine. Although there are questions about his top-end speed, he rarely is tracked from behind in the open field and plays with reckless abandon with the ball in his hands. If he is able to properly address his character issues, Floyd might make the race for the No. 1 spot closer than anyone anticipates.

Problem with Floyd is his drinking skills match his receiving skills.
Haven't really heard much about Alshon jeffrey. Is he predicted to be long gone by the time we pick?

coming into the season he was talked about as arguably the #1 WR, even over Blackmon, but he's had a disappointing season, in part due to an offense that had inconsistent play at QB. IMO SCar didn't look his way as often as they should. Nonetheless he is also responsible for having such disappointing season, and he's been falling down draft boards

hes actually perfect for our system

he can be a deep threat but is more valued as a short tall target with good body control and hands

to be honest with you I'd take him before taking Wright, and I LOVE Wright, but Jeffery could be what we hoped Edwards would be, but for a long time, his game compliments Crabtree's very well and Williams could be our slot guy

Bold statement.
What's the take on Jeff Fuller, son of the 49ers great? What are his skills and where in the draft will he fall? Would he fit on the Niners' perhaps as a second round choice?
