I know that dude, but damn, they have other talented players than Manning.

It is 100% clear at this point that Manning has been absolutely carrying a sorry @ss team for a long time now.

Name one talented Colt.

Wayne is ok but he's not a burner nor is he a big target. Dallas Clark was only successful because he was Manning's TE. He disappears for entire games with Manning out. The inept o-line was masked by Peyton's quick release and fast decision making. Jeff Saturday is ancient and undersized. Peyton is one of the greatest players in NFL history. They were 3-13 before he arrived and 0-11 once he got hurt... winners every year he played after his 1st season.

This post is so stinkin ridiculous it's not funny.

Freeney, Mathis, Glenn, Harrison, Saturday, Addai, Clark, Sanders, Wayne all contributed to that SB season.

One player is not the difference between a SB contender and the worst record in the league. The team simply cashed it in soon as the found out they were going to be relying on Painter and then Collins and then Painter again.

Make no mistake. That team gets decent QB play next year and they will be in the playoffs again like normal.

Ya its pretty ignorant to say they don't have anyone who's talented when they went to the Superbowl a few years back. With most of their core players. I just think they lost all motivation when peyton was declared done for the year. They pulled a Lee corso ... "awww f**k it" lol

the colts have ( i think) 4 new starting o linmen and all there LB have been injured this year

its not just manning

Harrison, Glenn, Sanders = not on the team
Clark = having his worst season since he was a rookie
Saturday = old, undersized
Wayne, Addai = overrated, okay players who like Clark fail to produce without Manning
Garcon = a good #2 WR

If they had a good team they would not be 0-11. Even with their QB out they would have won a game or two. Even with significant injuries.

And no matter how much talent you have, when you have Curtis Painter and Dan Orlovsky starting you are dead.

Dead in the sense of not making the playoffs yes. But to think that they are 0-11 because they are starting a bad QB alone is absurd. Many teams start flat out bad QBs. Face it this team stinks without Manning.

The 'Phins win and play teams close when they lose and are starting Matt Moore, their backup. It can be done.

Ah, that explains it. The Colts are just stunned. Not bereft of life and pushing up the daisies.

They stun easy, the Colts.

Wow on the BCS selection show on ESPN, there polling show 35% left Luck off Heisman ballet.

meh, he'll still be the #1 pick. The heisman usually goes to some guy who had a ridiculous amount of carries against bad teams so they have video game numbers or a QB who played in a gimmicky system that inflates stats. It never goes to the best player/MVP. IMO at this point its a stupid award.

RG3 should win the heisman
I would trade our whole draft to get LUCK on our team! But that's just me!
After Week 15, the race is back on......................kind of. Now that the Colts have broken the seal with a win, Minnesota and St. Louis are back in the race for #1. Then again, they both have expended #1 picks on QB's in the last two years. It appears that they would both sell the #1 pick to the highest bidder to fill all the holes they both have around their "franchise" QB's.

I disagree about the last part. The team won't be the same next year because Saturday, Wayne, and Manning all might all be gone.

This was probally their last hurrah, and Luck is going to be taken over a transitional football team with no line, no rushing attack, and no defense. I'm of the opinion that they should trade Luck for the boat load of picks.

If you lose by 40, one of your wins is taken away. So if the 49ers were to lose by 440 points, then they still wouldn't get Luck. (:
