BIG SHOCKER HERE.........
49ers get worse grade... D
I think this is a risky pick. He is a bit overrated. He is somewhat tentative with contact coming at him. Why not a quarterback?
Is it just me or does CBSsportsline hate the 49ers?? I mean Titans- Jake Locker? Grade C, Vikings- Christian Ponder- Grade A..... F"n A (are you kidding me?), Chargers- Corey Liuget- Grade B, Browns- Phil Taylor- Grade C, SEAHAWKS- JAMES CARPENTER- GRADE B (This has to be a joke right??), Chiefs- Jonathan Baldwin- Grade C (I actually like him but I saw rd 2 grades)
Get this, the pick that comes closest is C- Saints drafting Heisman award winner Mark Ingram with the 28th pick... that's a C-
I don't even know how to respond to this....

LMAO. I agree with you man. Pete Prisco is an idiot and most likely got mad at the teams that threw his mock draft off. I had Aldon Smith projected as a top 5 pick so I thought he would not get to us, because if it was between him and Pat Pete then we would take Pat Pete. I think we played low risk, high reward imo.

Why is this a lock? Is this not the draft forum and is that not a draft article?

Also, Will Brinson from CBS says...
Loser Day 1
49ers- Unless they really are trading for Kevin Kolb.
I hope Smith is the 2nd coming of Demarcus Ware... I'll hammer their website with their "expert" predictions just to rub it in their face...

Grades mean nothing. Nobody really knows how these picks are going to pan out. Some people need to have an instant opinion of things. The pick caught me by surprise I will admit. However, I'm not going to criticize it until the guy shows whether he can play or not.

I agree however the last time I was suprised like this was when we took Balmer in the 1st Rd. I hope to the good Lord we used all of our crappy luck on that pick... I think if this kid comes in and really works he will be our next double digit sack leader but it's up to him. Vic Fangio will have him in the right spots and stuff, its going to be up to him to make the play... He came back from a broken leg in 3 weeks so you know he loves the game and he's had 2 decent year. Well, 1 really good year, then last year he had a decent year but he was hurt so that tells me he's not a 1 hit wonder like Balmer was... When we drafted him I had this gut feeling Balmer just wanted that pay day and sure enough.......

Wow. His analysis is so convincing
If the pick doesn't fit in his puny brain's narrow concept of the world, he just gives it a bad grade.

This sheepf**ker gave the Vikings an A for drafting Christian Ponder. What credibility does he have?
