No corner can cover when the QB has all day to throw. You're looking at the numbers, but there is more to it than that. Sacks are great but it's PRESSURE that causes a QB to hurry...scramble...or make mistakes. We don't have anyone that really applies that pressure every down, all the time. Does it matter if we get a sack on 1st down, another on 2nd down...then give the QB 10 seconds to throw for a 1st down on 3rd and 15?
You're right we can't cover well, we can't pass rush well either. When your best pass rusher is a DE, and you play in a 3-4...there's a problem
