No Ginn, he's useless. Can't catch, not tough, Terrible on kick returns with an 21.1 avg. Josh Morgan (28.2) and Michael Robinson (23.0) both had a better avg. in 2009. Plus with the kickoff rule change the value of a pure return specialist in diminished. He is a decent punt returner but I think P. Peterson could do even better. And Chris Culliver (South Carolina's career leader with 2,476 kick return yards and third in SEC history in kick returns and kick return yards ) could handle Kicks.
LOVE the draft! If the first 4 picks went that way, I'd miss the rest - because I'd be passed out from excitment! Only thing I'd want would be Marecic in the 5th or so.

I'm not a fan of the FA's though. Just the thought of McNaab in a Niner uniform makes me

He's the best return man we have had in years. Do you remember the days when our returners couldn't even catch the ball? He would have brought several back to the house if it wasn't for our stupid penalty prone team.

Yup. IIRC MRob struggled to even catch the ball, and Morgan is one of our starting WRs. Why would we want to risk that? Not to mention We dont have any other guys with the speed Ginn does that can take one back all the way for 6. And Al Everest was a way better ST coach than Schottenheimer or whatever his name was.

For 1 I never said that Morgan would go back to returns, just that his avg. was better when he did it.
2nd, both the guys that I suggested to return kicks and punts are faster or as fast as Ginn.

Peterson 4.31 40
Culliver 4.36
Ginn 4.35

Ginn is also in the last year of his contract. I still think it should be an open competition at wr with K. Williams and Ginn.

I don't remember M.Rob returning punts at all and nobody struggles to catch kickoffs. Watching Adams and Brandon Jones catch punts was scary though.

Seems to stretch a tad to the unrealistic, but I love this draft. And I really do think B.Bell is an awesome selection in the 7th and could definitely backup at 3 spots on the line (LG,RG,RT)
Awesome draft!

It would be perfect if you chose Owen Marecic. He is my must have player this year. He is perfect for the Harbaugh WCO.
