This is my biggest fear, ALL of the qb's I would want are gone by pick 45.

its a legit fear, i'd almost rather pick @ 10 or 11 or 12 in round 1, picking 1st of all the 6 win teams in round 1 has its disadvatages in round 2 and the rouns following

trade up from pick 45
draft qb with pick 7
get qb in FA, draft Devlin in round 3

first round says he was released, second says it was likely...

I love both picks, but I really hope we're able to land a QB early. In this scenario, maybe moving up for a guy like Stanzi late 2nd/early 3rd

Sorry guys, at the time I wrote that pick there were numerous reports that you all have probably seen saying that he 'will most likely get release or have to take a pay cut'. I guess I just assumed it would happen.

I don't think it'd be much of a problem. We have a lot on the table to offer. I, too, would think we should make a move at that point.
