I'd rather have Peterson and/or Von Miller and Ponder, but that's fine.

The way this draft is shaping up, both us and the Cards will have some excellent players to pick from in both the first two rounds.

No worries about what the Cards do, we just need to get the right guys for us.

And I'm still only slightly higher on Peterson. He's a better athlete and gives you more in the return game. But he may ultimately be a safety. We could use a top flight CB more than a stud safety, so Prince may be a better fit for our needs.

The Cards pick before us, but that doesn't guarantee success. Remember, their brain trust decided to let go Matt Leinart only to replace him with the three banana brothers. I mean, how bad could Leinart be compared to the guys they picked up?
I wouldn't be surprised if they took their QB in the first round especially if Gabbert falls to their pick.

If the Niners end up with a pass rusher like Miller or Quinn, that would be great.

If the Niners end up with a starting caliber CB in Amukamara or Peterson, that would be great.

If Ponder makes it out of the first round and falls to us. that would be ideal.
