Yeah this is what I'm thinking. It depends on how the lawsuit is worded though. The PFT thing I posted made me think there will be a draft. On the other hand, if there wasn't, it could make things more exciting kind of like college football has their national signing day. It probably will make me less inclined to pay attention to draft stuff though because if it might not even matter than whats the point?

There will be a draft, but the players may not necessarily end up playing for the teams that drafted them.

From everything I've read, there will be a draft...it was agreed to some time ago, in the event there was a lockout. However, it could be a "hollow" draft...because 'til a new CBA's signed, no team can sign any player, draftee or veteran. If nothing's settled by the draft, it will truly suck for hundreds of young men who've done all the things necessary to position themselves for the NFL. It'll also suck for the veterans who've been in the league for some time...I just read Spikes' take on it and he's dead on...guys like him, it could be the beginning of the end of their careers if this thing's dragged out. If that happens, I'll definitely emerse myself even more in rooting the World Champion San Francisco Giants to another title!!!
