2011 Squad possibility

So here is what i think may happen. Some things I'm happy to say and others I'm not as excited about but are strong possibilities.

RESIGN/TENDER -
G: BASS
FS: Goldson
S: Spillman
DE: McDonald
OLB: LaBoy
ILB Spikes
QB: A.Smith :(

FA - (when it finally happens)
CB: Nnamdi Asomuga OAK

RELEASE/WALK (Key players) -
CB: Clements
G: Rachal
NT: Franklin
OLB: Lawson
DE: Evans
CB: James

DRAFT -
1. CB Prince Amukamara NEB - Clements gone leaves a void next to Nnamdi. CB no longer the hole in the D.
2. OLB Brooks Reed ARI
3. NT Sione Fua STAN
4. FB Owen Marecic STAN
4. OLB Thomas Keiser STAN - I know dipping in OLB twice in the first 4 rds may seem excessive, but new blood is needed there. He is also good value at this pick.
5. QB Andy Dalton TCU - I think all the QB's minus Gabbert and Newton will take a fall this draft. Darn good price for this guy if he can be acquired here.
6. SS Shiloh Keo IDH - I really hope he is still there this late.
6. WR Ryan Whalen STAN
7. RB DaRel Scott MAR - Though he ran a blazing 40 at the Combine I think he will drop due to his size and injury history.
7. G David Arkin MIZST

I realize I have drafted 4 guys from STAN, but they all are POS of need and aren't reaches IMO. Harbaugh knows these guys, why not pick up guys you know what you're getting and know your system?

UDFA -
1. Josh Jasper K/LSU
2. Richard Lapham OT/BC
3. Brandon Bair DE/ORE
4. Scott Tolzien QB/WIS
5. Via Taua RN/NEV

PROJECTED 53 MAN DEPTH CHART:

Offense -

QB: A.Smith / Dalton / Tolzien
RB: Gore / Dixon / Scott
FB: Marecic
WR: Crabtree / Ginn / Williams
Morgan / Whalen
TE: V.Davis / Walker / Byham
RT: A.Davis / Lapham
RG: Baas / Snyder
C: Hietmann / Baas
LG: Iupati / Arkin
LT: Staley / Boone

Defense -

DE: J.Smith / Bair
NT: Fua / RJF
DE: Sopaoga / McDonald

OLB: Reed / Brooks
ILB: Willis / McKillop
ILB: Spikes / Bowman / Kristick
OLB: Haralson / LaBoy / Keiser

CB: Asomuga / Brown
CB: Amukamara / Spencer / Adams
SS: Mays / Keo
FS: Goldson / R.Smith / Spillman

Special T -

K: Nedney
P: Lee
LS: Jenings
(RS): Ginn / Williams / Keo

PS -

K: Jasper
CB: Brock
WR: Jurovich
S: Maragos
G: Loadholt
DL: Tukaufu
OT: Patrick
RB: Taua

All in all, I would be very happy with this squad. The new additions are blue collar team first guys. Also solid depth added in thin areas while trimming off some dead weight without breaking the bank on a ton of FA (though Nnamdi will be pricey).
stanford homer huh? you must'a really creamed yourself when we landed harbaugh
Love Brandon the grizzly Bair
You've really done your homework. Two CBs and two OLBs. Covers it.

But most of your draft and main free agents are defensive players. It was the offense that stunk last year. Rather than Prince, I'd like the Niners to trade down for Jimmy Smith and trade back up for Baldwin (or another 1st round WR).

It's smart that you RDFA'd a kicker. Nedney might be fragile. Reed may even beat him to make the 53. I doubt Fua would start from game one. Manny Lawson was tendered and will likely be back with the team. You may be a little too optimistic that four UDFAs make the squad (three offensive UDFAs won't help the dysfunctional offense). For Loadholt in the Practice Squad, I think you mean Landolt, Dennis.
