Ladies & Gentlemen your most anticipated mock of the year is here. Settle down and don’t cream your pants just yet. Remember it’s only a mock.
1. Car- DeQuan Bowers
2. Den- Nick Fairly
3. Buf – Patrick Peterson
4. Cin. - Marcell Dareus
5. Ari – Von Miller
6. Clev – AJ Green
7. SF – Robert Quinn (OLB), North Carolina – He gets to the QB. Sure he doesn’t have any tape on him from last year but how many prospects do you know who had a great sophomore campaign and then fizzled out? Not many, so why would Quinn be the exception?
49ers:
Rd 2: Christian Ponder (QB), FSU – Physical accurate QB who is a perfect fit for the WCO. Injuries keep him out of the first round and too many teams looking to draft a QB between this pick and our 3rd round pick to wait till the next round. If you want a QB you will need to get him in the 2nd round.
Rd 3: Ras-I-Dowling (CB), Virginia – Good corner and would be a steal here.
Rd 4: Greg Romeus, (OLB) – Not sure if he will be here but it’s my mock and he fell here. Beast
Rd 4: Stephen Schilling (OG), Michigan – Not a need but a good player who will challenge Chilo
Rd 5: Courtney Smith, WR- South Alabama – 6’4 220 lb receiver who played at a small school that has never lost a game. I see him as a hit or miss player. Rd 5 is a good round for these types.
Rd 6: Mario Fannin (RB), Auburn – Our new 3rd down back. 220 lbs who catches the ball well out of the backfield. Ran a 4.38 at the combine.
Rd 6: Tyrod Taylor (QB), VT – This guy can be brilliant at times. Would like to see what he can do under a good coach. Practice Squad QB at the very least. We only have 1 QB at the time so…
Rd 7: Anthony Gray (DT), Southern Miss – My alma mater. Has the size to play NT and I don’t care what you think so na na na na boo boo stick your head in doo doo
Rd 7: Ryan McMahon (OC), FSU – Future HOF pkayer. But he did anchor a damn good FSU line.
I covered all of our pressing needs in this draft. I really do think Quinn is our guy in the first round especially if Peterson, Miller, Green, and Dareus are all off the board. Anyways I hope you like and if you don’t I’m sure you will leave a comment.

my only gripe with this mock is that I don't see the bill taking Peterson. I mean they could, but their secondary is probably the strong point on their team. I see them addressing other needs.
Other than that, I would love Quinn, I think he's gonna be real good.

I think they would go BPA. It'll b hard to pass him up. Could just swap him out for Dareus since they just lost Stroud.

I think Carson Palmer is going to force Cincinnati's hand, and they'll have to draft a QB. I would be shocked if at #7 none of the QBs were selected.
That being said, I like your mock for the Niners and I think the talent and round for each player is feasible.

The thing is with no CBA and no free agency period by the time Palmer really forces their hand the draft will be long gone.
anyway nice mock all picks are solid

Doesn't the phrase "Never going to step inside Paul Brown Stadium again" sum up his motives? I agree that the CBA is integral to this whole process, but the Bengals' only insurance against Palmer right now is to draft a QB.

I meant on the management side of the Bengals. Bengals owners is a nut job and just does things differently than everybody else.

You're probably right, but if the Bengals wait for a new CBA to address the QB situation, they might be more f**ked than us. But your right about them doing things differently.

One of the better mocks I've seen, Mike. It not only addresses needs, but seems pretty realistic, too. Nice job, man.

If it shook out this way in the first and that was the option (which I think it will) I'd be happy with Quinn or Prince. I like drafting 2 QBs and I've warmed a little to Tyrod (as depth). Looks good to me.

the only thing that concerns me is the risk factor of this draft
quinn didnt play last year....he looked awesome at the combine and is a freak....just the history of people that have sat out a year are enough to scare...would be fine with the pick tho
dowling had an up and down year due to all sorts of injuries....i think he is a steal in the 3rd and should be good just the injury history
romeus another with injury history....again in the 4th great value but 3 out of the first 4 picks do have a bit to be worried about....enough to complain probably not but id hate to see them not pan out because of these

thanks. I did it just for you. Had you in mind the whole time. Every pick I made I asked myself "Who would CorvaNinerFan want"?
