Drafting Standford Players

Imagine if Coach Harbaugh drafted mostly Standford players. I know this will definetly NOT happen. Just something fun to look at: AGAIN, THIS IS JUST FOR FUN, NOT GOING TO HAPPEN, I WOULD REALLY WANT PATRICK PETERSON or VON MILLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


1 Trade Down (for 2012 1st(Andrew Luck - QB) and 2011 5th)
2 Trade Down (2011 3rd/5th)
3 Trade Down (2011 4th/6th) Owen Marecic - FB
4 Sione Fua - DT
4 Thomas Keiser - OLB
4 Ryan Whalen - WR
5 Richard Sherman - CB
5 Konrad Reuland - TE
5 Andrew Phillips - OG
6 Chase Beeler - C
6 Taylor Skaufel - FS
6 Chike Amajoyi - ILB
7 Derek Hall - OT
7 Brian Bulcke - DE

I just don't see why that would happen. But I do like Fua and Whalen and Sherman. Fua can be had in the 4th I believe and Whalen will most likely go undrafted as far as I know. Interesting mock though.

Meh, I wouldnt be happy.

seriously I see him lasting to 5th or 6th at the latest. Sounds like a McClueless pick to me as far as reaching for players.

Although I agree this wont totally happen, I do think he'll keep it close to Stanford/Pac 10 in the 4th-7th rds..I see him getting Marecic, Fua, Keiser, and Sherman. I also see guys like Vereen, Ayers, Paea, O'Dowd,and Keisler will be discussed at nauseum..

The only Stanford players I would consider are:

Fua
Keiser
Beeler
Hall
Sherman
Whalen

Everyone else, including Marecic, shouldn't make the cut.

So a 2nd round pick goes for a 4th and a 5th, then a 3rd rounder goes for a 3rd and a 5th?

He's picking Stanford players, what should he do keep trading down until he has all 7th round picks? Had to start picking players somewhere and Marecic is one of the top players at Stanford this year...plus you have to love his overall versatility.

Fun idea, but you might have made one more trade down so people didn't jump you.

Edit: I assume your trade in the first was for a lower first and a first next year? Then you would take Locker twenty fifth or ?
