7. San Francisco 49ers: Von Miller, OLB, Texas A&M
With no quarterback on the board worthy of the pick, look for the 49ers to try to address their pass rush needs with a guy who knows how to make a living flying off the edge and getting after opposing signal callers.
*Notable players available:
Patrick Peterson
Prince
Quinn

I'm down with any of those 4 players listed.

Newton goes 1st and Julio Jones goes 4th before Green. This would be a dream scenario for us. The top pass rusher(Miller)and corner(Peterson) starring us in the face at 7. I`d be so pumped if the draft shook out like this.

with buffalo and cincy picking in front of us, we're almost guranteed to get a player who should've been drafted sooner, those teams usually go off the board

Seems like the most realistic draft is one with curve balls.

Brandon Harris that high? I know 40 times are not everything but come on a 4.53? That is Mark Roman wheels.

Scouts were impressed with his footwork and ball skills saying he played much faster bc of his lack of missteps.

lol no way Roman ran a 4.53. That is actually a pretty decent/good 40 time. I bet he ran like a 4.7 or something.

accordint to walterfootball, brandon harris ran a 4.43, cbs is talking about 4.45.
in general: speed is not the only demanded ability...but if you have a CB draft class full of fast guys (i.e. a lot of sub 4.50s), there has to be a very good to reason why one should pick a relatively slow guy.
speed can kill and i dont wanna be killed.
"It’s rare to find a quarterback with Newton’s physical skill set, and in a quarterback- driven league I have a tough time seeing the Panthers go in any other direction other than a signal caller."
--->i dont get it...he is talking about an athletic qb-class. where is the argument for taking newton 1st ovr???

I wouldn't either unless Von Miller is available.
