you dont know that, Qbs always fall in drafts plus right now there are a bunch of Qbs ahead of him:

Newton, Gabbert, Ponder, Kapernick, Stanzi, and even Dalton are ahead of him right now

He's not ahead of Stanzi, Dalton, or Kap....probably still ahead of Ponder as well.

It appears that Locker won't even make it out of the 1st let alone make it to the 3rd.

Kapernick sucks. Locker is going late first-mid second. Stanzi and Dalton won't go that high.

Co sign. I think he will be the 3rd qb off of the board.

We also don't know if the sun will come up tomorrow, but we're pretty sure it will.

Same with Locker not getting out of the 2nd...ok, not QUITE as confident about that as the sun rising tomorrow, but pretty damn close.
Locker had a very good combine performance, and even showed good accuracy with the on field drills. He also explained how much he had worked on his footwork which seems to be fixing his errors.

He'll be gone in the 1st.

How do you justify AZ NOT taking a QB at #5? Assuming the CBA is not done before the draft, they can't afford to not fill that major need, IMO.

McNabb is an AZ resident, and likely to consider the Cardinals as a perfect destination. If they sign a vet like DM, they can groom Skelton as a young backup and focus on the myriad of problems on their roster in this draft.

In reality, no QB in this draft will help AZ right now, so they could easily look for a band-aid veteran to get them through the 2011 season.

other than the 3rd round pick, what do you guys think about the rest of the draft?

All very good football players; we'd be lucky if the draft shook out that way.

Arizona is unlikely to go QB at 5 because neither Gabbert nor Cam can come and play from day 1. If there was a new HC in Arizona - then they could have gone with a QB.
