Looks pretty good to me. I sure wouldn't complain about that draft.

If it were my mock, I might take Vareen in the 4th and then another CB in the 6th. But that's just cuz I really like Vareen.

Good job.

Thanks man
i love the mock but out of curiousity i wanna see who you have going top 6 just to see the options

i love all the picks but only flaw i see in it is that we release franklin and u dont draft an NT as replacement other than that i love it

1. 1st round, # 7 (7th overall)
CB Prince Amukamara, Nebraska - Would rather trade down a bit before drafting him, I dont think he's a top 7 player..

2. 2nd round, # 13 (45th overall)
QB Christian Ponder, FSU - No Argument here, a very solid pick..

3. 3rd round, # 12 (76th overall)
DE/OLB Sam Acho, Texas - he's not a natural pass rusher in my opinion.. if you watch him play, i believe that he got by with his pure athletecism..

4. 4th round, # 11
CB Rashad Carmichael,Virginia Tech - outstanding choice if he's still there..

5. 4th round, # 18 (from San Diego in 2010 draft-day trade)
OG John Moffitt, Wisconsin - i like the kid but i think he'll be drafted late 2nd or early 3rd..

6. 5th round, # 10
DE/OLB Mario Addison, Troy - I trust that you've seen this kid play?

7. 6th round, # 9
RB Da'rel Scott, Maryland - uhmmmm, lets go with Dion Lewis of Pitt instead..

8. 6th round, # 25 (from Seattle for Kentwan Balmer)
QB TJ Yates, UNC - accept the fact that he'll forever be a backup and this should be a good pick.. but if you're looking for a Diamond in the Rough, Mitch Mustain is the kid to draft.

9. 7th round, # 8
WR Ryan Whalen, Stanford - Harbaugh would love to see his kid from Stanford get this job over last year's similar player in Williams..

10. 7th round, # 30 (from Detroit for Shaun Hill, originally belonged to N.Y. Jets)
FB Anthony Sherman, UConn - I prefer drafting a FB high so that I know he'll get a chance, 7th rounders in my opinion must be used on athletes..
Good job Pat I really like your thinking. Maybe just add a DT in there and thats all I would have to say about that.
Looks good. You think we will keep 4 QBs though?
Nice mock

Only pick that is totally out of whack is the Moffitt pick. He will be gone in the 2nd round. Definitely like the Prince, Ponder, Carmichael, and RB/FB picks. I like the fact that you took two pass rushers, but still think the Niners need a NT more with Gibson being picked up this past season.

Nice work!

Ummm... NO. Haven't you heard of the practice squad? I say we take 4 QBs into training camp for competition. Most-likely we'd put TJ Yates on the practice squad or sign a QB who was cut from another team.

Then again, who knows? David Carr might be the one who gets cut?

I figured we still have DT Isaac Sopoaga and Ricky-Jean Francois to step in. I say we should let those two men compete for the job. I remember hearing that RJF recently bulked up to about 310-315! Plus, he got valuable reps in camp last summer.
It's good... really very good.
Excellent mock.

Amukamara, Ponder, Yates. I'd have 3 jersey's to buy.

Only question is, why let Franklin walk and not draft anyone to replace him? In RJF we trust?

Are you assuming that Quinn, Miller, Bowers, and Dareus are all off the board at #7?
After Ponder aced his throwing test at the combine, he might not even be there at #45.
And how about replacing Nedney with Alex Henery in the 5th round?
