1) Carolina - DaQuan Bowers, DE - Clemson (Panthers to rebuild their D this year and hope that Luck will be with them next year)
2) Tennessee (Denver) - Cam Newton, QB - Auburn (Munchack convinced both owner and management that Cam is the reincarnation of both Air and Moon)
3) Buffalo - AJ Green, WR - Georgia (The Titans beat them on drafting Newton, so Buffalo takes a player that will fill up the stadium)
4) Cincy - Nick Fairley, DT - Auburn (Marvin Lewis is just happy to land the #1 player on their board)
5) Arizona - Marcell Dareus, DT - Alabama (Wisenhunt knows that no QB in the draft can help stop the opposing team's running game)
6) Cleveland - Von Miller, OLB - Texas A&M (The Big Show couldnt believe that Miller still on board)
7) San Francisco - Patrick Peterson, CB - LSU (San Francisco landed another Golden Child)
8) Denver (Tennessee) - Robert Quinn, DE - UNC (Bowlen couldnt believe that he is landing a player he compared to another ex-UNC in Bruce Smith and LT)
9) Dallas - Nate Solder, OT - Colorado - (Jerry Jones saw what happened to his team when DIMPLE got injured)
10) Washington - Blaine Gabbert, QB - Mizzu (Shanny and Snyder are all smile after landing the #1 QB on their board)

why would AZ draft a 3-4 NT in the first round 2 years in a row???
why would Cleveland--which is switching to a 43 front--draft a purely 34 OLB?
don't see Buf going in that direction, but have less of a problem with it

1.) Dareus is a 3-4 end.
2.) Experts believe Miller can play in a 4-3 as well.
3.) Green may be the best player in the draft and would instantly be their best offensive player.

1) Ok, he is, although I believe he's gaining weight to play the NT. Either way, 2 first round picks in 2 consecutive years for DL is a lot, when neither player is a pass rusher. Especially since their DEs are their strength. Both Dockett and Campbell are very good.
2) I haven't heard too many experts say that Miller, at less than 250lbs can play DE in a 43 front. Please point me to one such expert.
3) Possibly, but not by miles. You don't win that division by having a top WR. They have too many needs at critical positions, with too many good players at those positions available, to address WR. Then again, with a kid that talented, anything can happen. I don't have a huge problem with that pick.

1. Dareus is purely a 3-4 end or a 4-3 DT. Using him as a NT would be a complete waste of his talent and he would never want to put on weight for a position that wouldn't get him drafted any higher. You are, however, correct about the need issue. Arizona would be much better off taking Von Miller. Von is my favorite player and I really want him to be available at 7, but I don't see it. Speaking of....
2. During the Senior Bowl teams were only allowed to play a 4-3 and Von Miller played exclusively as a 4-3 LB. The announcers repeatedly stated that he could play in either system. Physically he is actually much more of a 4-3 LB size. The only reason he is thought of as a 3-4 guy is his pass rush ability.
3. Green would be a great pick for an excessively boring offense. Fitzpatrick, if he is their guy, needs another weapon.

He's going to be a 3-4 end 4-3 DT. That's it. He's not gaining weight to play NT.
Miller played 4-3 OLB in the Senior Bowl and did very well. Many analysts and experts said then and now be can play there.
When the BPA is on the board you never know.

3) Sure. Still not a fan of the pick
