is anyone else see the amount of talent that can be had in Rd 2. i think we should def. try to accumulate atleast 2 picks in the second. im all for trading down in the first. not sure if amukamara (or doubtfully if peterson) is there but there is a lot of talent at cb in the second.
possible 2nd round talent:
CB:
Jimmy Smith Colorado
Brandon Burton Utah
Ras I Dowling Virginia
Johnny Patrick Louisville
Rahim Moore Safety UCLA
LB/DE
Greg Jones Michigan State
Jeremy Beal Oklahoma
WR
Jonathan Baldwin Pitt
Titus Young (maybe 2nd) Boise
Leonard Hankerson Miami.....huge fan
Phil Taylor NT Baylor
def. liking the talent that can be had in the second and would love to have 2-3 guys on our team.....love burton, beal, hankerson and moore

I know you're focusing on the second round but I am throwing out other 2nd rounder possibilities as well as 3rd/4th rounders to maybe influence our decisions on our 1st/2nd round picks.
CBs
Brandon Burton is a fringe first rounder so as much I can hold my breath about the 9ers drafting a guy from my school it probably wont happen :/
Ras-I Dowling and Rashad Carmichael(projected 3rd rounder) could be one hell of a draft if we really wanted to bulk up the secondary.
You should also put Robert Sands and Ahmad Black on this list if you are going to put Raheem Moore on it. Black is a 3rd/4th rounder so we could actually land him.
Aaron Williams and Curtis Brown of Texas should be available here as well.
WRs
You should include Armon Binns in this list as well. If I'm not mistaken he is 3rd round receiver right now and with a strong combine could justify us using a #2 pick on him. I won't argue with the Hankerson pick -- would be a great pickup. You also should be putting Torrey Smith on this list. I've heard almost no negatives about this guy.
NT
I bet we would avoid NT until the 3rd or 4th round with Jerrel Powe probably falling a little bit because of his age(projected 3-4 rounder) also Sione Fua is a 4th rounder if I'm not mistaken and if Fangio comes to the 9ers I wouldn't mind them playing favorites at this position. Let Franklin walk and you would have RJF and Fua compete for the starting job.
We should also be thinking DE unless you are assuming we draft Dareus in the first.
Muhammed Wilkerson from Temple should be available here,
Edit:
QB
I really think Dalton, Devlin and Stanzi are going to be Harbaugh's primary targets and if I'm not mistaken Devlin is a projected 2nd rounder and I've seen quite a few new mocks with us picking him. Also Dalton is a projected third rounder but will probably impress scouts enough to maybe work into the 2nd round so we will have to plan accordingly. Stanzi is looking like a 4th round projection right now.

I thought Burton went back to school? But yeah I think there's a ton of talent in the 2nd round as well. I'd love to see us get multiple 2nd rounders.

I'd love to trade down.
I'm not a big fan of the top talent in this draft, and considering that we're on the edge of actually getting one of the top talents, I'd want to (and expect to) trade down.

He would be a tool to go back -- I haven't followed his news but he was a preseason top15 pick and fell all the way to top 40. No offense but I think he will get abused a little in the new PAC-12 and would fall even farther.
EDIT: Just remembered I read it on Wednesday that he is entering the draft.
EDIT2: This year is surprisingly heavy on secondary players and if there ever was a year to clean house and pick up some extra middle round picks this is the year. We also need to address the WR position with either 1 FA pickup/trade or draft pick. I'm becoming increasingly more confident that Baalke is going to try and move Morgan and they will do some serious evaluations of Ziegler and decide if he is worth keeping. We are absolutely stacked with young talent at WR with Crabtree, Ziegler, Williams and the practice squad guys. Not too mention Morgan and Ginn who are only 3 or 4 year vets.
It is high time that along with our QB situation we fix the WRs and find the guys we want to keep and cut the cord with the rest. We are floating around with 8 WRs including the practice squad guys: Lance Long, Bakari Grant, Kevin Jurovich.

Right now, yes, some possibilities to be excited about. A quick look for me, though not fully organized in order yet... (and of course, some will be gone)
Jeremy Beal ---------- DE ------- Oklahoma
Justin Houston -------- DE ------- Georgia
Drake Nevis ----------- DT ------- LSU
Brandon Harris -------- CB ------- Miami
Jimmy Smith ---------- CB ------- Colorado
Aaron Williams -------- CB ------- Texas
Aldon Smith ------------ DE ------- Missouri
* these, I'm expecting to rise in value by April *
Jabaal Sheard ---------- DE ------- Pittsburgh
Torrey Smith ----------- WR ------- Maryland
Christian Ponder ------- QB ------- Florida State
Ricky Stanzi ------------ QB ------- Iowa
Pat Devlin -------------- QB -------- Delaware
Phil Taylor -------------- DT ------- Baylor
Jerrell Powe ------------ DT ------- Mississippi

I want a pass catching RB somewhere in the draft. Demarco Murray would be ideal but he's probably unattainable. You got any ideas bro?

Unless one of the top 4 QBs is available at #45 (which, actually seems likely) I'd say trade it for a 1st next year.
Two firsts next year could really help maneuver to get Luck. And worst case, we're "stuck" with two 1st round talents.

Murray seems set for a 2nd/3rd round selection, and I personally wouldn't want an early RB. I love Noel Devine if somehow he falls a bit to the 4th. He won't run much inside for an NFL team, but he has good hands, speed, and is wicked in space. Same for Jacquizz Rodgers. Later, we could look to a guy like Derrick Locke, Brandon Saine, or Mario Fannin.

DE-NT-OLB-CB
whichever we take in the first can be scratched off this list, but one of the others better be the pick in the 2nd

Baalke said on KNBR that morgan will not be moved and most of the recievers are safe b/c it is hard to evaluate WRs without a QB
