Crabtree will be fine. He is entering the 3rd year, which is crucial for a Wr. I think we will be able to use our no. 7 pick on a bpa which will also be a major need. WR is not a major need.
Julia Jones is not worth a top 10. Poor hands.

I think anyone who wouldnt draft AJ GREEN at number 7 if he for some reason fell that far would be CRAZY

I doubt Green gets past the Browns. But even if he was there I would be against taking him, way bigger holes that need to be filled on the roster IMO.

Disagree big time! We need speed and AJ Green would provide a much needed boost for the new WCO. Only problemo is that he'll be long gone by pick #7

Drafting to strength is a good idea at times and if Green dropped to #7 that would be great. There is depth in the D side of the draft so this wouldn't be totally outrageous. Still need a quick game breaker but Green and Crabtree would be quite a tandom.

I don't mind the draft AJ Green at number 7 then Gore should trade for 1st round then Grab to RB Mark Ingram. The 49ers will be much better for the offense spread it.

there would be so many people salivating to move up and take green IF he were available at 7. moving down is almost always a great move and hardly ever available but it would be wise to move down and if we still wanted wr go with blackmon in first get an extra second.
i just feel that some teams would easily overpay to move up and grab AJ if he were available at 7.

this, highly doubt he will be there but its a no brainer if he is.
I remember hearing we would have taken dez bryant at 17 last year if iupati was gone. Some posters on here get to caught up on drafting for need. You cannot solely draft on need and have to take BPA into account as well. You dont take a guy lower on your board because he fills a need now when a dominant player at another position is available.

I think Julio Jones will be pretty good in a couple years. I think green will be among the best. I think he'll be a franchise player.

Agree with you there! The best teams fill their needs with FAs and then take BPA with the draft, to a great extent. Of course they go for needs if the player is there but seldom do they reach.

exactly, build for the future in the draft, fill needs in free agency. Reaching for a need might help for the immediate future, but 3-5 years down the line u may realize you passed on a stud.

RULE OF THUMB GENIUSES. #7 is going to be the BEST PLAYER AVAILABLE regardless of what you want and what the franchise needs. If Green is better than Amukamara or any QB available, it will be Green.
