It will be interesting to see if Harbaugh drafts him. Any other Standford players in the draft?
Everyone thought last year that Carroll would draft some USC players and I don't believe he did.

Anthony McCoy TE in the 6th round. Does that show he didn't value any of his USC players in the early rounds, could be.

I would be ok with this since we doubled up on some picks in the later rounds. Give Harbaugh a here you go pick.
Owen could suprise focusing on just one side of the ball. Coupled with Harbaugh's many personel groupings on offense, a versital big guy could be exactly what we need.
I betcha Rathman would be on board with this kid.

Maybe Harbaugh takes a flier on him on the 6th/7th round.

I'd prefer Henry Hynoski, and most Pitt fans would probably agree.

Stanley Havili would be my 1st choice at FB but Owen Marecic could be a steal.

I'd prefer both Havili and Hynoski over Marecic. I'm not sold on Marecic's NFL ability.

Is Havili really big enough though to be a lead FB-type? I know he's a great receiver from that position, but I'm not sure about his blocking ability at the NFL level.

Not right now. I would like us to use Havili as an extra back, rotating him and Byham. Havili doesn't really need to add a whole lot to be big enough to lead, but he's the kind of player any team could use.

It's hard not to like Havili, especially with all the things he can do for a west coast offense.
