You kind of lost me at free agency. I'd be a little nervous going into the season knowing that this year's secondary would be starting next year.

By the way, if Quinn were to get drafted by us, I think he'd be thrown into the fire. Parys Haralson isn't who we thought he was! *dennis green voice*

Everyone had their hopes up that the 49ers defense would be a top 5 dominant squad. Although they did not dominate, we still had an above average defense. We had/have good talent on defense, but the scheme did not take advantage of it in the secondary. With a new scheme which will not leave our corners ten yards off the line of scrimmage to telegraph a quarters coverage, they could be much better.

I would love to see Quinn start right away but he would be making a transition to OLB which will likely take time. He'll get opportunities to put his hand on the ground and rush the passer but he most likely wont be ready to start in the 3-4.
if defense is the key we def. need peterson or prince period..... for our first round
Bulger is an interesting option. I don't think he's ever been in a WCO so I don't know if it's a fit. Another thing, I can see no way that Randy Moss comes here. Other than that not bad.
