What do you make of him as an NFL prospect? Is he a QB, or will he play elsewhere?
I think he's a second-round pick...as a QB. If he doesn't pan out at QB, he can always play WR. Huge upside at QB though.

If a team wanted to go with the big, fast and athletically gifted QB who needs time to develop, they should consider Pryor over Newton. Newton will unfortunately be a top 10-20 pick and will likely be rushed way before he's ready, whereas Pryor (as a 2nd/3rd rounder) can ease into a starting position over time, and without the pressure/hype of being an early 1st rounder.
Taking Pryor also gives teams the option of using that 1st rounder on other critical areas (pass rush, DBs, offensive playmakers, etc.).
1.) Hire an offensive-minded coach
2.) Sign/trade for a veteran QB
3.) Use your 1st rounder on someone like Robert Quinn, Prince, Kerrigan, etc.
4.) Use the 2nd/3rd rounder on Pryor; develop him over time

Late 2nd early 3rd but I'm a Michigan fan so I'm biased on this one. He progressed nicely though he still needs tons of work. I think missing one more year of college will really stunt his NFL growth more than any other junior.

Someone was on ESPN today and they said that College Recruiters believed Terrelle Pryor could be a first-round pick at DEFENSIVE END.

Is Pryor so physically-gifted that he will simply find a way to start in the NFL?

These suspensions are getting ridiculous. The NCAA supposedly cares about the education of football players yet they are doing a good job here of pushing him out the door here before he has a chance to finish his degree by jeopardizing his draft pick status with this suspension.
Does anyone know how the NCAA got as much power as it does today? It wasn't originally set up to be this powerful. It was set up to protect student athletes but now all it's interested in is stealing from them, making money off of their success and jeopardizing their NFL careers with suspensions.

I think people said similar things about Tebow (FB, H-back, etc.). He's got a long way to go, but that was a very impressive start against the Raiders (one of the better defenses in the league this year).

Yes -- I live in Colorado and its Tebow-mania here...everybody was wearing Tebow jerseys around before he even got a start.
From my understanding, Pryor is even more versatile

He'll need some time to be brought along and learn the ropes, but he's a young guy with toms of potential. I think he's a franchise QB in the NFL.
I'd take him over Newton and certainly Locker.

I think Pryor is an intriguing prospect, that i would suspect is only a second round grade by people because of his cant miss status coming out of high school, then his play on the field. While they are both similar in style of play, newton is just the better prospect. He has everything you look for in a QB, while Pryor still has a lot of question marks. If he declares, the combine and private work outs will be more important to him then any other skill position player other then Jake Locker.
