Impressed by what I've seen of Stanzi. His footwork reminds me of Montana, very quick and decisive. So, this guy is 6'4"? Could be a diamond in the rough. Glad that Trent and Jim will be seeing him during the Senior Bowl.

lol 4 picks in the 3rd quarter against a ferocious wind(Stanzi had 5 ints that game). I still don't know why Iowa tried to go deep that many times into that wind.

I'm really happy Gabbert Locker and Newton are in this draft. All of them will throw 75 yards and run through a brick wall and amaze the scouts. Which don't get me wrong, are great qualities. Thats really not whet we're looking for. Most of you {like me} remember Montana and Young even Garcia. We know what good qb play looks like. In particular, we know what good qb play looks like in the west coast offense. I honestly don't think Locker gabbert or newton would do well in it. Stanzi fits what we are doing.

I think with Luck being out and there not being a clear number 1 in the draft. Stanzi is going to start climbing draft boards. Seattle's going to have a very late 1st rd pick maybe they look at a guy like Stanzi there.

Been riding and will continue...lol...I like 3 QB's in this draft and Stanzi has remained one of them!

To me... His attitude and the abiity he's shown to improve in a pro style offense speaks volumes for the kid. He also has good athletic instincts...Harbaguh mentioned that first.

He responds well to Boo's.... one more reason why he should be a niner.

I wanted Stanzi over the other guys but I wasnt crazy about the pick. Now i'll be disappointed if we dont draft this kid.
