AB, do you have any favorite prospects for the 49ers yet? Do you have an early prospect rankings for each position because I didn't see any on your site. Since you guys went Prince Amukamara in the mock draft I assume you like him. What's your thoughts on the CBs? Dowling, Amukamara, Harris, Williams, etc. Thanks... can't wait to get the football seasons going. Welcome back into our lives!!!!

OTC vs AB

Oh, Gore_21, I also like Robert Quinn, but he is likely out of range if we hit the west title and playoffs.

Also, the rankings are the top with links to them.

Exactly why I'm asking someone else.
I really don't see many top propsects for Hawaii, maybe the WR Gregory Salas or OG Laupepa Letuli who is at 327 lbs.

As for USC; Chris Galippo(ILB) and Jurell Casey(3-4 DE/4-3 DT)

Thanks, AB

I'm hoping we don't need an ILB. Bowman has looked outstanding for us so far. Wouldn't it be nice for the OLB position to get filled as well? Not sure Briggs and Brooks are ready to be every down OLB yet but depending on what Lawson does I'd like to have him back. Between him, Brooks, Briggs, Haralson and LaBoy hopefully we are set for next year as well. As for Von Miller a bunch of us where debating on if he is too small to be a 3-4 OLB. I'm not sure what he can do against the big OL in the NFL. He might be able to get passed them but I doubt he can bull rush them. I am iffy on if it's worth it to draft a 1 trick pony who could be just a 3rd down pass rush guy. Can he hold up against the run as well?

If Franklin resigns we should be set at NT but if he doesn't I'd like to get someone round 2 to 3.

As for center before Baas stepped up I agree it was going to be a need sooner or later. Heitmann is going to be 33... I am wondering if we resign Baas and start him next year if he does well. I still doubt the coaches let him continue once Heitmann is healthy even if he is doing great. Heitmann just has too much experience. They probably won't rush him back though if Baas is doing well. Still could be a need next year if we don't resign Baas. It would be nice to have someone waiting.

Like I mentioned I can see CB being a #1 need. Even with Adams playing well Clements might only have a few years left with us. It would be nice to start stacking up some talent there. Your only as good as your weakest link and at 5 and 6 we have big question marks. Heck, even 3 and 4 are question marks and could be downgraded if we bring in more talent. Do you have any comparisons for the CB? Dowling and Chris Cook be a fair comparison? I've heard he could potentially play CB or S. Both very similar in stature... you more of a smaller fast CBs or a big physical CB type of guy?

Thanks again
