Since we went with two O-linemen with our two 1st this year, should we still look at O-linemen again next year and if so which positions?
What positions should we focus on next year besides CB (everyone knows there's a need there)?
I say we will trully be able to draft BPA next year if things go as planned this year!
Your thoughts?

Next years draft, more O-linemen?

Center and Nose Tackle would seem to be needs in time and both positions take time to develop.

I think it depends on how Bass and/or Wraggi do at the Center position. NT is a no brainer though, and you are right it will take a long time to develope a rookie NT or C.

I think we are developing a few pass rush specialist. I say this because they simply ignored that position the past two years. I also think McDonald, Haralson, & Brooks are the players that will fill that void on the team. McDonald is highly underated and has had to deal with injuries but I think he will be a pleasant surprise this year.

McDonald isn't a rush linebacker though and Lawson is a free agent. That means we could be left with Haralson and Brooks and both of those guys haven't proven to be starting material just yet.
Rush LB could be a real need going into next year. I don't get why everybody wants a NT. It's Franklyn's job. Get a deal done.

It's Franklin's job but he has been franchised. And I am not sure about the depth behind him. Hence, the need.
Regarding center, neither Baas nor Wragge are any more than depth at this position, IMO. It takes about 2 years to develop a good c so next year looks about the time to get one.
Pass rush? Brooks.

Like I said get a deal done for Franklyn. Him and Davis have to be extended at some point during the year.
Brooks is Parys Haralson last year and Brandon Moore a couple a years ago. Let's see what he does from start of season to end of season.
As for the line. We don't have to spend a high pick on every lineman. You can find interior lineman thru a variety of means.

I'd go NT and CB first, then pass rusher, depending on how the young guys play through the year.

Re Franklin, where is the depth? If we sign him long term, injury can still strike.
Re center, I an not suggesting a high pick. A 3rd to a 5th, depending on the depth. But we will be needing a center in due course and next year's draft seems about the right time.

If we invest "x" amount of dollars in Franklyn we're not going to burn a high pick on a nose tackle to back him up.
I'm not really concerned about how we use those mid to late round picks.

Center
Nose Tackle
OLB
CB
DE
These are areas to look at next year. Of course a lot depends on the development of Alex. We may or may not be looking at QB.

I think as far as Olinemen that a Center is a priority.
I also think that CB, NT are also priorities.
I also think another DE to develop is always great as well and Odrick or Suh would be great.
And the best OLB that we can find to continue to develop.
So that is five draft needs.

since Baas has moved over to center that is no longer a need.
1) NT
2) CB
3) ILB (Spikes cant play forever)
