right????? i thought every football coach since popwarner used that expression...

what? some of you never played footballl? oh. that explains a lot.

haha seriously, I sometimes get the feeling that not many on this board actually played football, or if they did they were more sideline spectators in uniform.

Even hearing that expression from coaches before, I always get a really explicit image in my head.

LOL, i think some posters like to pretend that they have played football by calling out people who dont know whata the term ate his lunch means.

Just because you dont know what ate his lunch means doesnt mean you dont know football or that you never played

pretend... aragon hs in san mateo class of 1994.
i was no superstar athlete, but i know what it's like to go head up and actually,
i did lead my team in de-cleaters my last year! (the one thing i can brag about,
i had 7; 5 covering kicks and 2 at SS)

and yah... if someone never played, they have no credibility with me.
it'd be like a virgin tryin to claim they're an expert on sex just cuz they
download a lot of porn.
not tryin to hate on anybody. just how it is. ppl can have their opinions,
just remember you've never actually played football when you're expressing them

sure thing uncle rico

How's that time machine working out for ya Uncle Rico?

Really I am that old? "Ate his lunch" has always meant domination, no one says that anymore?

Okay kids listen up when I was in grammar school waaaaaaaay back in the nineteen hundred and seventies, your momma packed you a little metal lunch box full of food. When the lunch bell rang you all grabbed your lunch found your friends and kicked back in you favorite spot in the school yard and ate. Now this is were it gets interesting, we had these guys called bullies, they would come and grab the ding dongs or twinkires right out of you hand and eat um up! See dude "ate your lunch"

I always liked the cupcakes!
