49ers sign WR Scott Long

Pretty excited about this guy, he basically dominated the combine for WR. He's a low risk-high reward type player, and we're lucky to get him as a UDFA.

His 3-cone drill time was the fastest in the entire combine for all positions. For a big man, he's amazingly quick and has great change of directions skills.

This guy looks like he has some athleticism, size, and potential. Any chance we stash him on the PS for a season or 2 or as a 6th reciever and becomes our Miles Austin?
he will ROCK the squad ;) 6-2, 41.5 broad and 4.46 40s is very good.

If any UDFA makes the roster as an impact player Im banking it will be him first and then Maragos
Remember no team drafted this guy so let's be cautious with our enthusiasm. Hopefully, down the road things will work out, but odds are not good. Remember Boone last year? Bye Bye Boone.

We don't need your advice of caution in regards to enthusiasm noobie. HoF players have gone un-drafted in the modern era of football.

We are fans and this is a small window of excitement before the long dark days before training camp, so how about you stop trying to temper a fans excitement for their team, and just let people ride the high?
